The way I add some flavor to my life these days is by yardsale and thriftstore shopping. It is always the thrill of the hunt, chasing down bargains and having a mental list that I go through while out scouring the sales. Usually I find the items on my wishlist, if I wait long enough.
Before I leave for one of these early morning treasure hunts, I grab myself a to-go cup of coffee and flavor it up just right for me.
How do you like your coffee?
I’ll admit, I have not always been a coffee drinker, so it surprises me sometimes just how much I enjoy that one cup of coffee I have each and every morning. My hubby gets up and grinds the beans and makes a full pot of coffee every morning and when I get up, the first thing I do is go in the kitchen and make myself a nice, sweet cup of java.
No plain cup of coffee for me, it must have flavor and LOTS of sweet. I’ll take a little coffee with my creamer, please. 🙂 I rely on Coffee-mate flavors to give some extra sweetness and mellow flavor to my coffee and that completely takes out the bitterness that coffee sometimes has for me. These are 2 of my fave recent flavors that I picked up to use, French Vanilla and Italian Sweet Creme. Anything creamy or vanilla-y is good for me.

Right now I have the Coffee mate hazelnut and vanilla in my fridge.
I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do use Coffee-Mates creamer. I make hot chocolate and add their French Vanilla creamer… it’s DELISH!
French Vanilla is the best!

I love the Italian Sweet Creme too and also Hazelnut.
I have enjoyed their “Original” flavor for years…then went on the wild side with “coconut” and love the “hazelnut.”
I gotta have my coffee….sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. Don’t use cream, but my husband just LOVES himself some Hazelnut Coffee-mate. We buy it in the big container, and even use hazelnut coffee to boot. What a nice gift this would be for him.
I use Coffemate Vanilla (powder) everyday!!!
I prefer my coffee black, but my college roomate lost a ton of weight by eating sensibly and using the plain not the fat free CoffeeMate in her coffee that she drank a few times a day. It tasted so good, she never craved anything else.
Our favorite creamer is the Fat Free Hazelnut. It irks me that Walmart doesn’t carry FAT FREE HAZELNUT, just sugar free.
My hubby swears by French Vanilla, so I let him at it. I personally enjoy the Amaretto for dessert coffee with my best friend…my MOTHER-In-Law! She’s awesome, as are the products from Coffeemate. I can’t imagine how many good moments are spent over a cup of coffee.
Another sweet part of my day, when my soon-to-be 14yo son slips his arm around my shoulder (used to be my leg!) and hugs me tight and still says, “I love you mom.” Makes my day, everyday, just knowing that love continues into the teens. 🙂 He also loves Coffeemate creamers on the special times I let him have some coffee. 🙂
The French Vanilla is the one that usually is in our cart. My husband and sister swear by it.
Coffee is not coffee without Coffeemate. I especially love Christmas time when all the special flavors are out. I love Eggnog flavor!! but, Italian Sweet Cream is hard to beat!
I love the pumpkin spice during the holidays! I try to stock up when it comes out (powder form, of course), but the rest of the year I like French Vanilla! Yum.

I use CoffeeMate Sugar Free French Vanilla in my coffee. I just became a coffee drinker this past Christmas. My children and I took it easy every morning of their Christmas Break and sat around together watching TV, reading and drinking coffee (that was just me!). Love your blog!
MUST HAVE Dunkin Donuts coffee with just lite coffee mate creamer. No flavor needed….love Dunkins so much it doesn’t need anything else. 🙂
