Guesting on the Skirted Roundtable

I’m so excited that I was asked to be a guest on the Skirted Roundtable with Joni, Linda, and Megan and we had so much fun.  You can click here to hear the whole podcast.  They asked me to come on to talk about the Nate Show and blog stuff in general, so I was very honored to be asked.  These gals have had some wonderful guests on their show and I’m so happy to have been asked to join them.

You can hear my Southern drawl in all its glory! 🙂

Rhoda – thank you so much for joining at The Skirted Roundtable – you are a wonderful guest, with a lovely voice that required very little editing (something I love!). We’re lucky to have you!

Rhoda, you have an accent? Really? I couldn’t hear it at all. Now, those other ladies….
Love the interview and your projects (voted for your stairs on One Project Closer), and everything you do.
Keep DIY’n and blogging (I mean blogg’n) and tawkin and root’n for the Tide ’cause it is just so much fun.
Seriously, listening to you was like going home without the grueling flight, high heat and sauna like humidity. Thanks!

Sorry for the misplaced apostrophes. It has been a long day.Thank goodness I don’t teach English… I barely speak it and obviously can’t write it. I wanted to add that your voice inspired me so much that I poured myself a Coke and threw in a few peanuts. I haven’t done that in years.

    Rhoda,
I was reading this post and and jumping around on The Skirted Roundtable site and saw them reference back to one of your blogs about beaded wallpaper. I would like to order some of it, but when I linked over to order it, it said it was out of stock. Can you tell me how or where I can still get it because I loved the look of how your kitchen and bathroom came out and it is a perfect solution for my bathroom. It certainly would solve my problems and save me from having to employ a plumber to move the toilet and vanity to install real beadboard. Thank you for sharing that great idea with us and making it available. I will wait to hear from you.

I heard the interview — you were great! I was even surprised to hear you mention Blissdom, which I am considering attending this year. Loved discovering The Skirted Roundtable and your blog. See you on Twitter! 🙂

Yea!!! I just listened to your interview on the SRT!!! I have to agree with some of the previous comments…I love your accent, your positive attitude you’re just as cute as a bug! In the interview when you mentioned that when you go out, you take lots of pictures, I had to scream! Because, if it weren’t for one “Shopping in Destin”, I wouldn’t have my beautiful mirror. The “old mirror” you snapped a picture of was made in a weekend by my talented husband! There are some things like that, that just grab you and if it hadn’t been for you and your wonderful blog, I wouldn’t have that mirror! I get a ton of compliments on it. It’s in my front room. I promise to post a picture soon!
