Happy Easter to all of you! Â This is such a special time of the year and Easter Sunday traditions are precious.
I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful day with family and friends and remembering what Easter is all about.  He is risen, He is risen indeed!  And that one event forever changed the world!  I’ve been singing in the choir this morning and having lunch with my family and that makes it a special Easter for me.
I do not go all out for Spring decorating, but once the blossoms start popping out on my cherry tree in the front yard, it invites me to cut some branches and bring them inside, so once again I did that.
This is my ode to Spring. Â Enjoy!
I cut some branches from my pink cherry tree in the front yard and added all my aqua glass containers to the mantel. Â Such a simple, but pretty arrangement is all that is needed for Spring and Easter. Â I love the gold cross art piece in the middle.
I love the moss bunny and he is a definite nod to Spring. Those fluffy pink blooms are like cotton candy.
That big glass container came from a vintage shopping trip in Alabama and I love how big it is. The smaller one I picked up thrifting along the way.
The other side of the mantel holds a glass jar that came from the old Willow House collection. Â A nest of eggs I picked up several years ago.
Once again, my sweetheart brought me spring flowers and they make the foyer table shine. Â He’s very sweet to me!
They are a beautiful reminder of Spring and the warmth of the season ahead.  I do  love this time of year and it makes me want to get outside every day to enjoy the sunshine.
Happy Easter and Spring!
Beautiful, Rhoda… This is my week to clip my own flowering branches in my yard! So glad you had a blessed Easter… let’s get together soon.

Lovely! My yard is bursting into bloom, and I need to bring some Spring inside. Our Buddy Dog learned the first lesson of country life the hard way…the Easter Bunny is NOT a large, black furry animal with a white stripe down its back!
Skunk – 1, Buddy – 0.
I’m sorry, I can’t quit laughing about Buddy Dog story. Years down the road you too may laugh
at this memory. Our fluffy children can get into so much trouble but bring much joy! 🙂
Already laughing, Rene! Poor little guy!!
Oh, no Roxanne! That is not a fun lesson to learn….poor Buddy!
I have a 7 week old grandson. The first night he slept through the entire night my daughter’s two Weimaraners got skunked when she let them go potty before going to bed. Needless to say even though the baby slept all night, mom and dad were up all night washing dogs.
Our skunk encounter was at bedtime too. There is a great product called Skunk Off Shampoo that really works (available on Amazon). Buddy now smells almost as sweet as Rhoda’s flowers!!!
Hi Rhoda!
Your mantel looks beatiful. I love your glass vases. And how pretty are those flowers your sweetheart gave you! I hope you have a great Spring week ahead!
Happy Easter from Canada. Sounds like you had a lovely day. May I say, so wonderful you have a special someone; thinking back from some years ago….isn’t our God awesome ! You never know what doors will open ! Enjoy !
Thank you, Debbie! Yes, our God is awesome and he has blessed me so much!
Hello! I absolutely love your cherry tree blossoms and the aqua vases along with the other floral arrangements and decor! Happy Easter from New Brunswick Canada! 😉 Your blog is so beautiful!
