Happy New Year 2009, my friends! I really appreciate all of you who take the time to visit my blog and leave comments. You have all made 2008 a wonderful year for me and I look forward to a great 2009.

I’m trying to recuperate from Christmas, getting things cleaned and orderly again around the house and it’s always this time of year that I feel the need to get organized. Time to clean closets, drawers, and office space. Have a Happy and safe New Year’s Eve. We’re staying home!

I’m posting a client’s powder room redesign tomorrow afternoon, so come back to check it out!

Hi Rhoda! Have a wonderful New Year. I just love your ideas and find you to be the quintessential decorator extraordinaire!! We just bought a new (to us) home this summer. it’s actually 30 years old and is a blank canvas just waiting for my strokes of paint. As I perused your blog I told my husband so many times “Look, THIS is what I was trying to describe to you”! I look forward to your bloggin in ’09. See you next year. Jennifer

    Hi Rhoda,

I wanted to stop by and wish you and your family a Happy New Year!!! I have enjoyed your blog so much and look forward to blogging with you in 2009!

I was going to tell you I have tried several times to leave comments on other posts but when I would click under the “witty replies from friends” it would just put me up in the comments of others but not bring me into the comment box. I don’t know what was going on. Thank goodness it let me comment today.

Rhoda, Happy New Year! Thank you for your blog friendship this last year! I feel like I have learned so much when I visit you here, you are a true inspiration. I think it was about a year ago you decided to become a full time decorator if I am right?
This last year has been wonderful and I hope 2009 is just as blessed for all of us (bloggers)

    Happy New Year Rhoda!
I can't wait to see your Powder Room Makeover. I am working on a Powder Room re-do myself. Picked up the paint – Red & Chocolate Brown – this week and a chunky gold-gilted mirror. Looking for a new light fixture in antique gold and some animal accents. The look will be British Columbia meets the Ritz Carlton! (LOL!) I'll visit tomorrow.
