Happy Thanksgiving 2013

I hope you all are enjoying time with family and friends today, just as my family will be doing too.  It seems that the hurry of the Holidays is getting more and more fast-paced these days, with Black Friday sales and scrambling to get Christmas decorating done.  But, stopping for one day and being thankful for the many blessings we have in our lives is SO important and I don’t ever want to skip over that.  Our American tradition of Thanksgiving Day is a precious one and one that I hope doesn’t ever go away.

We NEED to be thankful!  Not just today, but every day.

Enjoy the bounty sitting on your table today! We will most certainly be eating a feast (too much bounty!) with my family as well and being thankful for food, shelter, and health.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends!

This is the 7th Thanksgiving you and I have celebrated together since I’ve been blogging.  How can that be?

Happy thanksgiving to you, too. There won’t be any shopping for me today. I’m appalled at the idea. We’ll just be eating and talking with family. Enjoy your day.

Happy Thanksgiving to YOU, Rhoda. Your blog has added so much enjoyment to my life so thank you. I’m helping to put in new boiler in my house this weekend, so no celebrating or feast this year, but I’d rather have heat. My house is freezing!
