I have really enjoyed your posts up until you mentioned Charlie Kirk. Yes, it is sad that he was killed, but he knew that the things he said were racist and hateful, and not a very good Christian . Maybe because he was a podcaster you had sympathy for him and his family. Your post has never been political before, so I hope that will be an end to it it.

Hi, Diane, thank you for leaving a respectful comment. I know there are a lot of strong opinions on Charlie Kirk at the moment, but I do disagree with your assessment of him. He was a great Christian, even though he was outspoken. He’s been vilified as a hater and racist, but he was anything but that. He based his world view on the Bible and so do I. I haven’t heard anything from him that was those things and the sound bites out now are really trying to portray him as something he was not, so perhaps listen for yourself at the whole context. I’m not a political blogger, but sometimes I have to speak up and this moment in history was one of those moments that deeply affected me as well as millions of others across the world. Charlie was loved.

I am sorry, but I cannot condone anyone who approves of Charlie Kirk and I have heard him speak and for that reason I am unsubscribing.

You are welcome to do that, Diane, I wish you well.
