The Winner is #331, Heidi! Congrats, Heidi, you’ve got mail!
Lamps are one of the easiest things to change out in a room to make a big difference in the feel. I went through the really traditional lamp season, of iron base and bell shaped shades, but the last 3 or 4 years, I’ve transitioned over to drum shades and a more electic vibe with my table lamps and I love the changes. I’m happy that lamp manufacturers have given us so many pretty lamps to choose from the last few years. Before that, I remember having a hard time finding pretty lamps that were affordable.
I’ll show you a few of mine that I’ve had for a few years.
I found this one at a yardsale for $5 and got rid of the monstrously big shade that came with it and found the replacement shade at a thriftstore. I recovered it in this pretty black and cream damask and have enjoyed it for a long time. I might be ready for an update on the fabric pretty soon, since I have some burlap that would work perfectly. I love the glass base with gold accents and it’s a very tall stately lamp.
Another find in my living room is this mercury glass lamp that I got from Homegoods. It’s petite and fits nicely on this glass and iron side table from Ballards.
More lamps around my house. I love mixing them up and using different colors and shades all around. I try to keep my shades fairly neutral for the most part and notice I love the drum shades. Something about this shape really appeals to me and it modernizes a room so much.
Another little vignette in my den area has another metal based lamp and drum shade. I’m still working on the den, but I’ll show you some progress down here next week. It will be awhile before I get this room totally finished and I’m still using part of it for storage of accessories.
Another great find were these lamps from Kirklands that I found just after moving in my house. I absolutely love the wooden bases, the gray ceramic vase shape and the burlap drum shades. This pair was the perfect complement on my sideboard in the dining room, pulling in the gray paint in here and the colors from the curtains. They were meant to be!
Speaking of Kirklands, if you haven’t shopped there for lamps lately, they have really upped their game in lamp selections and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the ones they have. You can shop online or at their store and they have a ton of lamps on sale all the time.
Kirklands sent me a new lamp to try out in my house and I absolutely love it. This big glass base is slightly vintage looking and the glass is sort of seeded and old looking on a wooden neutral base. I really love the large drum shade covered in burlap.
It’s a great fit on my coffee table in the den, very large and distinct and the style fits right in with my Traditional furnishings in here. At 32” tall, it’s a large one!
Here’s some great news too. Kirklands wants to give ONE of my readers one of these lamps too. Yippee!! I love when I can share the fun with all of you and I’m so excited to be able to give one of you this lamp too. It will be sent directly to your home all packed up nice and neat in 2 boxes.
All you have to do is visit the Kirklands website, look at their lamps and leave a comment, telling me which one is your fave!
And tell me where you’ll put this new lamp if you’re the fortunate winner?! That’s it, I’ll choose a winner in a few days and you’ll get your very own beautiful glass lamp with burlap shade too. How fun is that?
Note: I was given a free lamp from Kirklands, but wasn’t paid for this post.

Love the clear glass with burlap shade!
I would choose the etched glass table lamp. I love the shape and how it could go with so many styles. I would out it in my family room. Soo cute. I had never heard of Kirklands before today so it’s nice to learn of a new home decor store.
There are actually two different lamps that I like a bunch. I love the Sand Dune table lamp, but I also like the Open Base Glass Table Lamp. I would love this lamp if it had the burlap type lamp shade. I would put this lamp in my office. My husband was actually complaining at how dark the room was while we were doing our taxes the other night.
The crackled silver — I’m envisioning it in the dressing area of the bathroom.
Fingers crossed for me and thanks so much for the opportunity!
Love love love the smoke glass and chrome lamp!!! It would be perfect sitting on the black table I just refinished!!
I love the giveaway lamp! It would go perfectly on my buffet where I accidentally broke a lamp 3 months ago. I also like the Tourquoise Scroll Table Lamp from Kirklands website. I sure could use a new lamp!
I really like the Crackled Silver Glass Table Lamp on Kirkland’s site. I would put in in my bedroom, to replace the one I have in their now.
I’ll go for the Sand Dune table lamp, too~
I love the tortoise glass table lamp and the gray wash table lamp! Kirklands does have a nice selection. Thanks for the opportunity.

The turquoise table lamp. I need some color in my life (and living room)!
Love the black wire body lamp and it would look great in the living room I am trying to redecorate on a budget!
THank you!
Hi from WA state, the land of Kirkland headquarters. I would love that lamp and I’d put it on the table in my “great room” next to the sectional. I haven’t bought (or re purposed) a lamp in at least three years-time for a change! Thanks for the opportunity and all your lamps & shades are so pretty!
Wow- it was harder than I thought to just pick one… so I picked two :):)… the green hobnail (love anything green and this would look great in my guest room) or the disressed rooter, which is so funky and unlike anything I have … it would look great in my living room. Hope I win.
Thanks!
I love the rattan buffet lamp!
Rhoda, I have to be your biggest fan! I am working on a guest room, the choice was hard but I think I would like the etch glass lamp there. Thanks
I absolutely love the Antique Mirrored Table Lamp! Thinking it would be perfect in my entry.
I loved so many of their lamps….I would choose the sea shell glass lamp for my living room.
I would love new table lamps in my living room. I really like the Sand Dune Table Lamp.
I like the Etched Glass Table Lamp on their site!
If I win the lamp from your giveaway, I think it would look beautiful in my sunroom, which desperately needs some love!
