The Winner is #331, Heidi! Congrats, Heidi, you’ve got mail!
Lamps are one of the easiest things to change out in a room to make a big difference in the feel. I went through the really traditional lamp season, of iron base and bell shaped shades, but the last 3 or 4 years, I’ve transitioned over to drum shades and a more electic vibe with my table lamps and I love the changes. I’m happy that lamp manufacturers have given us so many pretty lamps to choose from the last few years. Before that, I remember having a hard time finding pretty lamps that were affordable.
I’ll show you a few of mine that I’ve had for a few years.
I found this one at a yardsale for $5 and got rid of the monstrously big shade that came with it and found the replacement shade at a thriftstore. I recovered it in this pretty black and cream damask and have enjoyed it for a long time. I might be ready for an update on the fabric pretty soon, since I have some burlap that would work perfectly. I love the glass base with gold accents and it’s a very tall stately lamp.
Another find in my living room is this mercury glass lamp that I got from Homegoods. It’s petite and fits nicely on this glass and iron side table from Ballards.
More lamps around my house. I love mixing them up and using different colors and shades all around. I try to keep my shades fairly neutral for the most part and notice I love the drum shades. Something about this shape really appeals to me and it modernizes a room so much.
Another little vignette in my den area has another metal based lamp and drum shade. I’m still working on the den, but I’ll show you some progress down here next week. It will be awhile before I get this room totally finished and I’m still using part of it for storage of accessories.
Another great find were these lamps from Kirklands that I found just after moving in my house. I absolutely love the wooden bases, the gray ceramic vase shape and the burlap drum shades. This pair was the perfect complement on my sideboard in the dining room, pulling in the gray paint in here and the colors from the curtains. They were meant to be!
Speaking of Kirklands, if you haven’t shopped there for lamps lately, they have really upped their game in lamp selections and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the ones they have. You can shop online or at their store and they have a ton of lamps on sale all the time.
Kirklands sent me a new lamp to try out in my house and I absolutely love it. This big glass base is slightly vintage looking and the glass is sort of seeded and old looking on a wooden neutral base. I really love the large drum shade covered in burlap.
It’s a great fit on my coffee table in the den, very large and distinct and the style fits right in with my Traditional furnishings in here. At 32” tall, it’s a large one!
Here’s some great news too. Kirklands wants to give ONE of my readers one of these lamps too. Yippee!! I love when I can share the fun with all of you and I’m so excited to be able to give one of you this lamp too. It will be sent directly to your home all packed up nice and neat in 2 boxes.
All you have to do is visit the Kirklands website, look at their lamps and leave a comment, telling me which one is your fave!
And tell me where you’ll put this new lamp if you’re the fortunate winner?! That’s it, I’ll choose a winner in a few days and you’ll get your very own beautiful glass lamp with burlap shade too. How fun is that?
Note: I was given a free lamp from Kirklands, but wasn’t paid for this post.

I love the Clear Glass Floor Lamp. Thanks for a great give away!
Love the Bronze Damask Buffet Lamp. 🙂
I love Kirkland’s! The clear glass lamp is gorgeous, but really I love them all!
Loved the vintage blue table lamp. There were tons of beautiful lamps.
Thanks for the opportunity. Choosing the sandy blue glass table lamp as my favorite.
So many great lamps! I found 4 for living room alone. But I think the most useful at this time would be the Distressed Rooster Table Lamp because My new townhouse has a great little pass-through from the kitchen into the combined living and dining area. The low key colors will keep things subtle and the rooster coordinates with the kitchen decor making a great Segway from room to room.
(I think I’ll also get the clear glass lamp for my granddaughter’s new rock “collection”!)
I really like the Blue Floral Ceramic Table Lamp. It would be great in my bedroom. I need to replace a small lamp that I have in there now. The clear glass one you are giving away is really nice too. It would look really nice in my living room.
All of the lamps are really nice, but my favorites are the Neutral Clear lamp (the one you have), and I also love the Bronze Clear Lamp. Love those burlap shades!
One of my favorites is the Blue Distressed Table Lamp and If I were to win the giveaway lamp (love it too) It would go in our family room.
xx, Sherry
Love the gray Driftwood
Knot lamp!
What a great selection… the Gray Driftwood Knot lamp would look great in my den!
The Crackled Silver Glass Table Lamp would look fab in my living room!
My favorite is the one you’re giving away, but I also love the Sand Dune Table Lamp and the Vintage Blue Table Lamp!
I would pick the Blue Glass Table Lamp to go in my new daughters nursery which is aqua and pink.
The Resin Peacock Table Lamp would coordinate perfectly with my new master bedroom decor! Must get to Kirkland’s. ASAP!
Thank you for your graciousness to do give-aways! I think my fav is the “Sand Dune”. I like the flexibility it has to go almost anywhere in my house and the burlap shade!
I love the you they sent you! I would use it in my foyer for a great update with the drum shade.
Enjoy your website every post!

I would love to have the Blue Distressd Table lamp for my bedroom.
I absolutely love the scroll table lamp. I will be turning our grandsons bedroom into a guest room in a few weeks and this will be my inspiration.
I Love the Bronze Cube lamp! I’d put in our family room. OR the Family Tree lamp OR the Tree of Life lamp…Or…
