But I love to craft and create, and try to make my little place a home with the little money I do have and this would be so wonderful to have and use! There are so many projects that I want to make with this machine, things I see all over the blogosphere and want to recreate for my own home, but I think the first thing I would have to make would have to be labels for my kitchen and pantry. I’ve really been wanting to get them organized, and I just scored a bunch of glass spice jars for pennies at the thrift store that need labels! Thank you so much for the opportunity to try for this, even if there’s only a small chance I might win. I love your blog!

  274. The first thing I would make is a piece of subway art for my gallery wall-in-progress. It would be sooo much easier to use the Silhouette than to print out, trace, and cut each letter individually from contact paper (which without one of these would be the only way I’ve figured out to do it how I want). And then I would start putting vinyl mongrams or silhouettes on everything – make label tags for the toy and clothes bins . . . can you tell I’ve been dreaming about one of these for months? 972. I just left my incredibly secure, decent paying, 4 years in the making career, in order to pursue the life of an artist. I’ve made the leap and it’s scary and exciting as heck, but there is no turning back now. If I had a Silouette, I would use it to create cut out versions of my illustrations. There is this cute bakery called Almondine in Dumbo, Brooklyn that I would sell them at. I can already picture them hanging on the walls! It would be awesome.
