EDIT:10:00 AM – It’s really coming down now! Just took 2 more pics (above) and it’s a blizzard out there, cold and wet and snowy. Glad we’re inside!
Look what we woke up to this morning! I heard about the possibility of snow coming our way on Saturday, but really didn’t think much about it. But, when we woke up this morning and looked out the window, here’s what we saw….
Our neighbor must have left to get milk and bread. That’s the joke in the South when snow starts falling. The stores get over run with folks buying all the milk and bread they can get. It’s still coming down and the streets are starting to get more covered now, so we’re not going anywhere today.
I love snow days!
We’ll snuggle down in our warm and cozy house and enjoy the day, since we don’t often get days like this. Now I know compared to the North, this snow is nothing, but we can’t help but get a little giddy when we see those flakes falling!

We enjoyed our “snow day” in Atlanta, too. And once again I won MOM OF THE YEAR ’cause I had no boots or gloves/mittens for my little boy. *ugh*

That’s so funny… milk and bread. And OH so true! The last snow we had I went to Kroger and the bread shelves were VACANT! I was like… seriously? I have never actually seen us get so much snow that you cannot leave your house!
Ah… it was good for a laugh at least!
