This house we just bought has some really ugly existing light fixtures and of course, changing them out is on the list for most every room in the house. The lights over the front door and on the back porch were nothing more than a fixture with a bulb in them. Maybe there used to be covers on there, but they were completely gone, which makes for a really horrendous lighting look.
This simply will not do.
See what I mean? That little speck there on the wall is the light fixture. Not a pretty sight.
Up close, even worse. I imagine it had a cover on it at one time, but it’s long gone. Sad, sad fixture.
Over the front door is not at all better. Same situation, same sad fixture.
