Lisa Leonard in Birmingham!

If you have yet to meet the wonderfully talented and creative, Lisa Leonard, wait no more!  Lisa will be arriving into Birmingham from California on Friday, October 15th for a TV appearance with Talk of Alabama AND she is also doing a jewelry show at a local art gallery, Jennifer Harwell studios.

Lisa is a fabulous jewelry designer, photographer, mom,  as well as a beautiful blogger and her sweet smile just lights up her gorgeous blog.

So, all of you in the Birmingham area are invited to the show.

There will be cupcakes and lots of fun going on, so don’t miss out.  I, along with a couple of other bloggers in the area are helping to spread the word and we would all love to meet you.

I had the pleasure to meet Lisa at this year’s Blissdom conference in Nashville and she is a doll.  I’ve done a giveaway with her too and her work is so special.

For a chance to win $50 in jewelry before the show, you can visit Rachel’s blog to sign up.  We would love to help get the word out to everyone in the Birmingham area who can come out to the meet and greet/trunk show.  Lisa will be displaying her stunning jewelry and there will be giveaways that day too.

You can blog, Tweet, and Facebook for chances to win the $50 by October 14th, when the giveaway will close.  But, you need to go over to Rachel’s to sign up for them all.  None of the comments here at my blog will count.  I just wanted to give a huge shout-out, since Lisa is such a special lady and she’s coming to town!

This is one of Lisa’s latest creations, a feather necklace with a beautiful Emily Dickinson quote.

Lisa does gorgeous work and I’m the fortunate recipient of a couple of her pieces and I treasure them.  Lisa is designing jewelry for celebrities and regular folks too.  You will love her things.

Hope you can join us for some fun girl time! You are ALL invited to the show, whether you are a blogger or not.  I’d love to see you there!

{I received no compensation for any of  this.  Lisa is a friend and I wanted to be involved in her show.}

Next week, I’ll be sharing a little bit of Fall around my house. I don’t got all out for autumn decorating or Halloween, but I like to have a touch of it in the house.

So, drop by on Wednesday, the 6th, and I’ll do an impromptu link-up and you can share your Fall decor too!  There have been a ton of linky parties this year celebrating Fall, but I thought I’d open it up and let you join up if you have something to share.  I’m always behind everyone else, since it takes me til October to finally get in the Fall mood. 🙂

Breaking News!  The blogger episode of the Nate Berkus show will be airing this Monday, the 4th. Get those DVR’s ready!

    So glad that you will show stuff around your house next week…it’s kinda felt like your blog has become an advertisement for everyone else and not about you.

      Ann, I know you mean well and want to see what I do around my house, but I beg to differ. Not about me? I’ve shared all my trips from the orchid show to Eutaw, AL and NYC, yardsales all summer long, as well as lots of other stuff about me.

      I know that a big draw to my blog is about decorating and I’m afraid I just can’t come up with projects & decorating posts around my house all the time, as much fun as that would be. I try to keep a balance of post ideas on here and not just do too much of one thing.

      Thanks for coming by!

    Rhoda, Lisa’s designs are FABULOUS and she is a total sweetheart to purchase from. I have ordered an incredible necklace for my MIL last year for Christmas that she gets complimented on daily! I also recommended a design of Lisa’s to one of my friends husband for her for mother’s day because it was PERFECT! I SO wished I lived closer!
