Merry Christmas 2014!

My family is enjoying this week of Christmas celebration with  my niece and her family here for the week.  You can bet our first Christmas with this cute baby girl is blessing us to no end.  She will no doubt be the center of attention as she takes in her first Christmas.  She won’t remember it, but we surely will!

Parker just turned 10 months old and what a cutie she is.  We are so enjoying each month of her growing life and seeing how much she has changed since she was born.  She will be walking soon, since she is pulling up and walking around the furniture now.

Lauren took her to see Santa in New Orleans to get her picture taken and wow, was she adorable.  Is this not a picture perfect Santa picture?  This Santa is such a good one too!

That red velvet dress was Lauren’s when she was a baby.  My mom made the red dress for her 32 years ago and the white smocked Christmas tunic was smocked and handmade by my sister’s good friend, Debra.  It has candy canes across the front.  It’s so fun to see Parker in it now!

I wish each of you a joyous and festive Christmas with your family and friends.  This truly is the most wonderful time of the year and I’m going to enjoy every minute of it.  We are all so blessed and have so much to be thankful for!

I’ll be taking off the rest of the week, but will be back Monday with my end of year party, Best Projects of 2014.  It will be fun to look back and see what I’ve accomplished this year and if you want to link up on your blog highlighting your projects, there will be a link party too!

This was a beautiful Santa picture. Sometimes the baby cries but it looks like Parker was very happy. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you & your family, Rhoda.
