We’ve just enjoyed a nice Christmas Eve at home with some of the family over for a simple dinner. With all the twinkling lights on, the house feels so festive and cheery. We cherish each and every Christmas with our families, since we have no idea how long we will have all 4 of our parents. That’s not something we can take for granted for too many more years.
I hope you all enjoy the best Christmas ever with your family and friends and may we all remember the true reason for celebrating this wonderful Season of Jesus’ birth. We have so much to be thankful for, don’t we?
I’ll be sharing Christmas pics next week when I get a chance to get another post up. We will gather at my sister’s house for Christmas breakfast and opening presents and then meeting Mark’s girls for Chinese late afternoon, a family tradition for them.
I also wanted to let you all know that my Facebook page, Southern Hospitality was hacked on Monday and I’m working on getting it back. It’s a long story that I don’t need to go into, but it’s a terrible thing to lose something I built 10 years ago on that Facebook platform, but I know many of you follow me over there. I’m hopeful that Facebook will work with me and help me get my page back, so I’ll keep you posted as things move along. With the Christmas holidays, it’s probably going to be slower getting things done over there. There are so many evil people in the world out to wreak havoc on anyone and everyone.
Merry Christmas to all of you, my friends! Thank you as always for hanging out with me on my blog and all your support throughout the year! I appreciate you all more than you know.

Rhoda over the last 10 years, your blog is still at the same standard as when I first discovered it. I love your posts and the way you have influenced not just my decorating style, but also the standards you hold for Faith, family and friends. I don’t know you personally, but you are like a dear friend I get to visit two or three times a week. Thank you for inviting all of us into your life. Happy Christmas and Happy New Year. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face to shine upon you and give you peace.

I’m so glad I follow your blog. Everyday or morning, I drink my coffee and see what Rhoda is up to. It’s like having a good friend in Atlanta! You’re such an inspiration to me and many others! You exude lots of grace and style and always honest when things aren’t perfect. A human quality not everyone has.
So glad you do what you do.
Merry Christmas to you and yours🎄🎄

Rhoda,
Merry Christmas to you, Mark and your families! My you a Blessed 2020 filled with happiness and good health. I truly understand what you said about treasuring our family members especially as they get older. My husband lost his 90 year old father in September and then his stepmother two months later. So sorry about your Facebook page getting hacked. It really is a shame that’s the world we live in now. I saw where so many people who had the Ring door bell system where getting hacked and being spied on in their own homes. That’s really scary…so I hope folks will be extra cautious and put in extra security monitors to help prevent hackers.

So nice that you were able to have a nice Christmas Eve with your parents and Mark’s. How we need to treasure our parents while we still have them. You and Mark are so thoughtful and caring! God Bless you both for your wonderful hearts!
Hope you enjoyed your Chinese supper with Mark’s girls. So nice to get together in this way. Christmas always has so many traditions that we enjoy.
So sorry that your Facebook page was hacked. This is so horrible and especially when you have had it up and running for all those years. Hope it doesn’t take too long to recover it.
Have a wonderful time over the Christmas season. We wish you and Mark all the best both now and in the New Year! God Bless you both!
Thanks, too, for your wonderful posts! You always tell things exactly how they are without any embellishment and we just appreciate you so much. Your love for the Lord always shines so brightly through you posts. May He continue to Bless you!
