Miss Lucy’s Monograms Giveaway

IMG_7141

When I was back home in Marietta, I told you about meeting up with my dear friend, Debbie, and we had so much fun remembering all the creative fun we’ve had together over the years.  Debbie has always been super fun to hang out with, but we never had enough time to do a lot of things together, since she was a full-time Drama teacher at a local Cobb County High School.  I used to go over in the summer and hang out with her at her backyard pool, talking decorating and dreaming up fun projects that we wanted to do.   She really got a kick out of several of her students leaving comments about recognizing her.  I know those of you who had Debbie for a teacher loved her to pieces, like I do!

After 30+ years of teaching, Debbie is now working part time, with hopes of only teaching another year or 2 and she’s already started an at-home business of monograms.   It’s time for her creative side to really shine! IMG_7145

Debbie has the coolest office space/craft room in her basement, complete with a sink. She painted the walls and ceiling all black to give it a studio effect with all of her craft things and this is where the inspiration is born.  She got out all of her wares that she is now selling online to show me the line-up.  And boy, does she have some cute things! IMG_7146

See how fun this space is?!IMG_7147

Stacked to the ceiling with all sorts of things, this is where she does all her crafting.

And she sent me my own personalized bag in my signature black/white and lime green.  Isn’t it adorable?!  I can see this going with me to a Beth Moore conference, holding all my pens and books. 🙂  This is called the Create-A-Bag on the website and she has oodles of fun fabrics and colors.

You know a giveaway is coming, right?!IMG_7149

Debbie is giving away to one of YOU, this cute as pie, polka-dot apron complete with monogram of your choice AND the adorable little tote, also monogrammed to your liking.

All you have to do is go on over to Debbie’s website, which is really cute too and take a look around.  Come back here and tell us what your favorite thing in the shop is and that’s all you have to do.  Comments must be left HERE on THIS post!  If you get my blog by email, you will need to click over here to leave a comment.  Giveaway ends Friday night at 6 pm, Central time.

Click the button to go to Miss Lucy’s, who by the way is the cute as a button (ha-ha!) family dog!

Have fun and enjoy all that Debbie has to offer! I hope you’ll look around and get some ideas for Christmas gifts, since it’s just around the corner.

Houndstooth Print Large Travel Bag has to be my absolute favorite. I really need a weekend bag for when I am visiting the College Diva. This would be perfect for those little jaunts! The apron is a much needed addition to my kitchen, I was just remarking the other day how I need to get an apron! Thanks Rhoda and Debbie!

I love all the fun black and white totes, but the black and white damask quilted duffle has to be my favorite. So handy for travel and so beautiful! Thanks for offering a wonderful give away and another place to find beautiful things. I love supporting women who work at home:>)

All the items are lovely, but I think the large tote is so useful. I love the black and white fabrics. And, Rhoda, I also love your gift bag – so pretty! Linda

I want to get my daughter a bag just like yours but I can’t find it on her site. I love her stuff!

I do like the Create A Bag, but I could really use something to bring my lunch and snacks in to my day job. I usually bring my lunch everyday, along with some snacks, so a tote or the lunch box bags would be great.

Wow, what an adorable site! The cutest thing she’s selling has to be the brown and pink damask duffel bag – I do a lot of traveling and that would be adorable, That apron is hard to compete with, though!

Great giveaway, Rhoda! I love, love, love the monogrammed lunchboxes. My two girls would have an absolute fit over these, especially the zebra stripe! For me I am a sucker for a great looking tote! Black prints are my favorite.

Hope you are having a great week!

Gee everything is fantastic and I hope her shop goes well for her. Personally I am a tote person but the market basket also caught my eye because it is different. Your giveaway is adorable, who wouldn’t want that tote and apron, very cute.
