My Open Sky Shop is stocked

There seems to be a lot of strong opinions on wallpaper and I can relate to both sides of the argument. I’m on the fence too, although there are many papers that I really could love, at least as an accent somewhere, but some of you are really OVER the wallpaper. 🙂 Thanks for the interesting discussion!

When you see that cute little blue button over on my sidebar, it goes directly to my new Open Sky shop. Just recently, I shared with you my new partnership with this group and that I am now the proud shopkeeper of an online boutique with the Open Sky Project and after working on getting some great items in there, I’m happy to share with you that the shop now has some fun decorative accessory items available.  So, please pop on over and take a look.  Click on the Blue Button!

beadboardpaper

I’ve got the beadboard wallpaper as the very first item, so those of you looking to try this wonderful product, here’s your chance and I’d love it if you buy it from me.

There are also a few other pretty wallpapers from Graham Brown in there too, so look those over for some inspiration for those of you who are willing to try wallpaper again.   You wallpaper haters, shield your eyes! 🙂

Here are a few sample pics of what you’ll see over there.

7606-6_0_15919_d(Parisian footed bowl which is not showing the pic over there right now, small and large available.)

I’ve also been able to add several fun and unique home accessory products from a company called HomArt, which I found has some really cute items to choose from, so I went through their catalog and picked out a few things that I though all of YOU might enjoy too.  I figured if it was something I like, then chances are, you probably would too.

I realize that not everyone lives in a great area for shopping and many of you can’t pop into Homegoods or TJ Maxx to find some fun accessories for your home, so this is a wonderful opportunity for me to test my buying skills and pick out some things that I think the home decorator would enjoy.  And I’ve tried to pick out things that are cost effective and fairly reasonably priced.   Maybe later, I’ll add a few higher end items in there also.

Don’t you love these adorable cast iron bunny bookends?

So, hope you’ll take a peek and feel free to ask any questions about any of the products.  We are still getting some of the descriptions clarified, as some of them look like it is for one item only and I’m just not sure about that yet, but I’m working on getting all of those questions cleared up.  If so,  I will probably be taking them out of the shop since they would not be cost effective.  Let me know if you have questions on anything you see there and I will get it clarified as soon as possible.  I don’t want any disappointments.   The items I’m looking at for clarification on quantities are:

Skeleton Keys

Delmar Candles

Gardening Stakes

Natural Acorns

Vintage Grocery bags

So, if any of these strike your fancy, don’t order until I get this cleared up!

Thanks again for all of your support these last 3 years of blogging.  I’m hitting my 3 year blogoversary the first of February and who knew when I started this, that 3 years later, I would have my own online shop and could scour some fun products to offer up to all my readers?  I’m still pinching myself.  Think of it as my Etsy store!

And to kick off my brand new shop, I’m going to be able to offer ALL of you 25% off your total order, one per customer. All you have to do is enter RHODA25 when you check out (50 of these are available)  and you’ll get the discount.  How’s that for fun?? You can only order once with that coupon code.

And it’s good at ANY of the Open Sky shops you see over there. There are a lot of various shops open and you can browse them all, but mine is one of the first to have home accessories offered, so I hope you’ll shop with me if you do want something.

Also just added: Another coupon for $20 off any purchase of $40 (Enter in FUN20) or more for anything on the Open Sky site.  You have to hurry on this coupon, there are only 50 available (shared with all the other shopkeepers)  and it’s first come, first served.

Hope you all enjoy what I’ve found and feel free to offer any ideas on other things I can add. I’ve got a few more vendors that I’m hoping to add later too, but this is a good start.

I’d love to know what you think of the products I do have listed.

Rhoda, you are the first Violet would love to see what it meant. It really doesn’t have to do with your decorating color but I found it interesting that mine was green since I use so much of that color in my home. Debs was blue and she uses lots of blue . Coincidence?? Not sure.

I just placed my first order, Rhoda! I just love that jute tote with the birds. I figure I can bring it with me on appointments , right? I’m loving the wallpaper you’ve chosen, too…especially that green and cream damask. *sigh* Maybe I’ll do one wall in my DR or something. We’ll see. Good luck with the shop!
