Nashville Parade of Homes: Stonegate Homes

I’m back today with another Feature Friday of the Nashville Parade of Homes.  This 7,800 s.f. Southern beauty exudes charm and hospitality.  Built by Stonegate Homes and interior design by Julie Davis with Julie Davis Interiors, this home was decorated in a more rustic manner, but also with a very welcoming feel.  Enjoy the tour!

I won’t do a lot of talking through this one, but it’s fun to look!

We loved this white newel post mixed with iron spindles and stained stairs and railing, so we’re using that as inspiration for our house.

Seeing lots of wallpaper used in these show houses!

And lots of marble in bathrooms, which is so pretty and classic.  You can’t go wrong with marble!

I hope you enjoyed this tour too and I’ve got a couple more to share! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

The exterior of that house is gorgeous! I have always loved Georgian/Colonial houses with their tall skinny windows and symmetrical fronts. It looks like it could have been built 200 years ago.

Is there a list of materials available? Such as bathroom countertops and that gorgeous bathroom floor that you took a close-up of? Also, bathroom vanity brand/color?

Hi, Marianne, the book I got doesn’t cover all that, sorry.

Wow, just wow! I knew I would love it when I saw all that gorgeous stone but the interior is even prettier than I imagined! The neutrals, the lighting, the kitchen…everything is beautiful. This could be one of my favorite house tours yet. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

Pretty house! I like this one. They could have put some toilet paper in the one bathroom! 🙂

By far my favorite of the tour so far, possibly ever in the world, lol. Very “grand” but has such a homey feel to it. Thanks for sharing!

Very beautiful, but it is so staged! Does not look like a comfortable warm home!! Beautiful but I do not see any personal things or family pictures! Is this just staged for idea or does someone live here? It is so absolute gorgeous! Just does not look like real home!! I do not intend to be cantankerous!! I would love to live here with my pictures, books laying around, etc.

These homes I’m featuring are all Parade of Homes, which means, yes they are staged by pro designers to look absolutely gorgeous. They definitely achieved that look. So no one lives here yet, the homes will be up for sale. You have to look at these as design inspiration not a real life home that someone lives in, definitely a difference. Have you never been to a home tour like this before?

This show home is so well done that I could easily move in and feel at home with the design choices! I agree with you about the newel post and the iron railings. I can certainly see those in your new home! Did lots of pinning because there is so much inspiration here!

Love the gorgeous stone exterior and interior design of this home. However, I’m wondering about the distressed “hanging doors/panels” on the porch….???? Not sure I like that or if it is safe! 🙂

Love the stone exterior, I would so live there. I envy the opportunities that you have to go on tours in your area. Keep blogging, I read you every day.

Yumm-O! I definitely got a Ballard Designs catalog vibe! I would love to see something similar in a smaller version.

I rarely ever comment, I have been enjoying your blog for over a year, but I have to say something……am I the only person that is tired of the gray-neutral-white decorating style? I realize that in selling a home it is smart to appeal to as any many people as possible. But in a model home, can we please have some color!!!! Anyone who buys this home can afford to repaint if needed, or change the drapes. I think it is lazy to keep defaulting to the grayish color scheme. OK…rant over….I did love the house, especially the exterior and agree with other comment…the long windows were divine!

Hi Martha, thank you for reading. I know the neutral and lots of gray trend has certainly been popular for at least 5 years now and farmhouse is very much neutral too, which has totally taken over blogland. I think we all just have to decorate with what makes us happy and comfortable and not worry too much about all the trends. That’s what we are doing in our new house.
