New Email Service for Southern Hospitality!

Hi, folks!

I’m hoping that the past problems of emails not being delivered might be over, with my newest decision.  I’ve gone with a paid email service that sends out emails to all my subscribers and switched my email service over from Feedburner where it’s been since the beginning of my blogging.  I’ve heard great things about Mad Mimi and so far, so good.  I just switched over from Feedburner emails this week and I like how it’s working so far.  IF you were one of my many readers who had problems getting emails delivered in the past, PLEASE sign up again.

There’s a fun surprise at the end of this post too, that I hope you’ll enjoy!

You’ll notice I have a new bar at the top of the blog, called a Hello bar and it gives folks the opportunity to sign up for my blog emails if you haven’t done so before.  All you have to do is enter your email in that box and you are done!  You’ll be getting all my emails from now on, every post that I do.  So even if you were subscribed before and you are not getting my emails consistently, I hope you’ll sign up again.  I don’t want to lose any of you along the way and Feedburner was becoming more and more unreliable and I didn’t have any solutions to fixing the problems.  So, hopefully this will do it!

Thank you all so much for your faithful reading of my blog. I appreciate it more than you will ever know!  There are countless sites you can read these days and the fact that you choose to come back and visit me day after day, means the world to me.

One more thing to share with you today!  When I was up in Nashville, I got a short segment on one of the local TV stations, the morning segment with Kacy Hagerty, the NBC affiliate.  I talked about blogging and gave a few tips on starting a blog.  It was so fun to do and we finally got a copy of the segment up on You Tube, so I can share with all of you.

Now, you can really hear my Southern accent!  Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank you so much for dumping Feedburner so your email subsribers can stick with you. Your blog is one of few I so missed with all the Feedburner problems. So enjoy your posts and family updates.

Oh, Rhoda, I loved the video! I’ve been following you since you moved back to Atlanta from Birmingham, not sure how long that has been, and have loved every minute. Your blog is a blessing!

Great to finally hear your sweet Southern voice after all these years of following you! Your blog is the ONLY one I read everyday! I have checked out many others, but none compare with your honesty, your friendly, everyday life, your ‘faith’, and your great decorating ideas we can all afford. Sending you love and prayers of continued GREAT success and blessings in all you put your mind to! <3
