Little Miss Parker is a little over 7 weeks old now and her mom and dad had a professional photo shoot for her when she was 3 weeks old. They used these pics on her birth announcement and of course, all the pics turned out SO adorable, so, I hope you’ll indulge me with a few more baby pics. The photo shoots will be further apart now that we are in Georgia and they are back home, but hopefully along the way I can update her growth this first year, which is always a huge change when babies move through the newborn look all the way to year #1. We are going to cherish every step of the way with this baby! I know that Philip, Parker’s daddy will be taking lots of new pics too with his camera, so I can share some of those along the way too.
Lauren and my sister, Renee, came back to Georgia last week for a visit home and when Lauren and her family left for home last weekend, it was a sad day indeed. My sister has been with them from the birth day, helping Lauren out with her first baby and it’s going to be hard for her, missing that baby. We are all pretty attached to her, as you can imagine.
She’s a little beauty and we can’t wait to watch her grow! They had these pics taken at a local place in New Orleans, called The Art of Baby. They did a great job on the pics!
With Lauren home for a week, we all got to take turns holding her and I only got a few shots of mom holding her again. You can tell she’s getting bigger, 10 lbs. now!
Those little cheeks are round and chubby, perfectly kissable.
I snapped this one on my iphone (sorry, it’s really grainy) of Lauren and Parker on the floor with Dad in his chair.
Just wanted to share a few more joys from my family to yours with this sweet baby of ours!
Miss Parker is absolutely beautiful and so is her mama! Every one of those baby portraits is so precious. It’s amazing what they do with pictures these days–it is certainly a far cry from what my children’s portraits looked like twenty-some years ago! Ha! It’s also wonderful to see pictures of her with her great-grandparents again. Thanks for sharing these cherished moments with us.
Rhoda, thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures of Parker and your family. I will never get tired of looking at that precious baby. I look forward to all of the updates from New Orleans. Hopefully you all will be together for Mother’s Day. I always enjoy your Mother’s Day post.
Delicious!! Even better than the cake! Parker is gorgeous as are all of you women, good genes. I can only imagine the sadness Renee is experiencing with the baby back in La. and her in Ga. I remember these early days with my daughter’s kids and the joy of what we shared. We made a point to see the babies every 6 weeks so we would know them and they would know us. Now they are teens and we are still close.
She is a beauty to be cherished forever.♥ Thank you for always sharing your joy with us, Rhoda.
Just Beautiful.
Keep the photos coming. Loving our little ones is wonderful for them and us.
She’s so beautiful! And those little baby lips! I love seeing her photos.
She is so precious! I love the pics! Thank you so much for sharing! Now I want to be a grandma even more!
She is adorable : )) Thanks for sharing with us. Babies are such a blessing : )
Parker is a doll baby, Rhoda. I loved seeing all these photos. So sweet!
Xanti is always ecstatic when she does baby photoshoots. Absolute heaven!
Oh Rhoda. What a beautiful, feminine Angel! Her little bow mouth is precious. I know your family is just captivated. The photographer did an amazing job with such adorable poses…such a treasure. As a side note, I’ve never commented on your blog and just want you to know, I spent an entire weekend avidly reading all the posts on your home renovation. You and your sweet Daddy must have worked so hard and the results are absolutely beautiful. I know you must enjoy it so much and feel such a sense of accomplishment. What a balm this must be for you! Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you, Paulette for telling me that & welcome to my blog!
NEVER appologize about showing pictures of the baby OR your DAD!!!!!
Parker is gorgeous! I love seeing a family all wrapped up in a precious new baby. What a gift from God that is! I can’t imagine how Renee is handling her grandbaby being in LA. When my first grandchild was born I quit work so I could keep her. I am so thankful I was able to do that for her first two and a half years. I know you all will be covering that sweet little girl with so much love that she will know how very special she is. Never hesitate to post “baby” photos because they are so precious and what real life is all about!
Parker is so lucky to have those great-grandparents! Continued health and happiness for all your family!
Such sweet photos especially the ones of Parker with great grand parents. Those were my favorites.
OH MY, oh my, oh my ! Just beautifully precious – all of the pics are so beautiful ! But the last one, with your sweet Daddy in the background in his chair – the way he is gazing at his daughter (you!) his granddaughter, and his great granddaughter – brings tears to my eyes…..What he must have been thinking ! So proud and happy…..Thank you for sharing these moments with us !
Please keep sharing photos of beautiful baby Parker as we all enjoy seeing her. The professional photos are great but I think my favorite is the one of your Mom holding her! So sweet!
She is beautiful…. too bad no one loves and adores her…. ha ha ha…. Thank you for sharing her pictures and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! I read it every day.
with that complexion and those blonde red eyelashes (and the sweet face, of course)..I’m going to call her Miss “P”eaches.
