Relaxing with an Iced Coffee

It hasn’t been that many years ago that I started drinking coffee and that wasn’t until I added sweet and creamy coffee creamer to spice up the flavor. Adding froth on top helped a lot too. Namely, I like the added sweetness that really brings out the coffee flavor to me.

During the hot summer months, it’s refreshing to enjoy a summer treat and one of the treats I love to enjoy is an iced coffee. I have made them myself at home and I’ve also bought them while on the go. I just discovered that RaceTrac gas stations have International Delights iced coffee machines in some of their stores. I picked one up recently when I was traveling and it was a delicious afternoon treat.

But, there’s an easier way to get iced coffee at home now with cartons of sweet and tasty International Delights Iced Coffee in the grocery stores. I picked up a carton recently and have really enjoyed the flavor and refreshing chill of an iced coffee over crushed ice at home on the porch.

International Delights has several flavors to choose from including Vanilla and Caramel Macchiato. I love anything caramel, so picked that one up. At 150 calories per cup, it’s not too bad on the waistline either. I do try to watch how many calories I drink these days too, but a summer treat like this is worth it sometimes. I happen to love International Delights coffee creamer too, in all their fancy flavors for hot coffee.

Sitting on my back porch and enjoying an iced coffee is a real treat for sure.

Instead of serving soda at your next gathering, how about iced coffee? Many people are enjoying this sweet treat , so this would be an easy way to serve it to a crowd. I love that picture above with the fancy straws and glass serving pieces.

There’s a Summer Iced Coffee Tumbler Sweepstakes over on their ID Facebook page and you can win a cute coffee tumbler for yourself! Enter daily through the end of August to win an ID Iced Coffee tumbler! 100 tumblers will be awarded each week.

Do you enjoy iced coffee too?
