Renewing a Room

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Leviton for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Since I’ve got a whole house to renovate, I’m always on the lookout for fun new products to help with that process and have to opportunity to introduce you as well.  Renu® is the smart new way to update the look of a room in a snap, now and later.

Renu® > Brands > Solutions from Leviton Web Site

The Renu® collection includes:

-Switches

-Combination switches

-Wallplates

-Dimmers/Remotes

-Tamper Resistant Outlets

-Tamper Resistant GFCI Outlets

-QuickPort Connectors

All of which have faces you can update yourself whenever you’re ready for a new look. Available in 20 popular paint colors, chosen by decorating experts, Renu® products can blend in or contrast with a room’s walls or trim. Renu® turns the electrical device into a decorative, easy to change accessory. I really like the options they have!

I love the fact that their products come in so many colors.  You can change them out to suit your decor and be stylish at the same time.

I know I’ll be switching out some faceplates and adding a few dimmer switches when I get in my house.  I added dimmers in my old house and it really adds to the ambience of a room.  And I can certainly see myself using some of the multi-colored faceplates to personalize a space.

My new diningroom will be the perfect place to add a dimmer switch and that will be the first room I’ll be adding to.  Having a dimmer in the dining room is a nice touch!

If you want a dimmer do you need an electrician if you currently have traditional switches?
