We are leaving on Friday for a Caribbean cruise on Celebrity cruise lines. We’ve never cruised on this line before and I’m super excited to experience this ship line. We signed up with 8 other couples from our church and I think it’s going to be so fun. I have worked with Chico’s many times over the years and I reached out and asked if I could try some new clothing items from their resort collection to take on my cruise and they were generous to send me a few things. I love their resort wear line and they have some beautiful things this season. I’ll show you what I got before I get packed up!

This Sanibel Island print T is so cute and there are several items out of this print. Everything is already on sale, so grab them if you’re interested. I always get size 0 (Small) in tops and usually .5 (size 6) in pants. These pull on jeans are so comfy with a little wide leg, but not too wide. Sandals are the Gatlin from Easy Spirit.
These white pants are older Chico’s from a couple years ago, but I love how this T goes nicely with jeans or white pants.
This colorful eyelet tunic also goes great with white pants. These navy suede pumps are from Talbot’s, but last year.
I love eyelet fabric and this print is so pretty and soft for spring and these are just my colors. This lapis long necklace from Chico’s is also a gorgeous piece. They have some great jewelry!
Love this green ruched top, soft jersey material and it will pack nicely. The sleeves are pretty too with a slight bell shape. The necklace goes with a lot of things.
This long navy print dress is so pretty for spring and I’ll enjoy wearing it on the cruise.
I have some new makeup to share with you too. Maybe I’m the last person to try it, but I finally bought the Laura Geller baked foundation in a kit they had at Christmas. I really do love how easy it goes on. My kit came with their nice brush and it goes on so well. I’m not a heavy makeup gal at all. I don’t enjoy the thicker makeup and heavier makeup look anymore and I think when we get older that a lighter hand is better. This foundation is a cake, but it doesn’t go on too dry for me. I use a primer under it and then just brush it on. It gives a matte finish and just buffs out some imperfections. There’s no way to hide all the lines and wrinkles I have, but this helps. The brush is below inside the black tube and came with my kit.
This is my kit and what came in it. I paid $45 for it, including shipping, so it was a really good deal. I got a sample of their Spackle primer too and liked it a lot, so will order it next time.
It has highlighter, concealers, blush, bronzer, and several eye shadows, plus a mirror that all folds up. This will be great for travel, so I’ll be taking this kit with me. I got the color Light and this kit really works well for my coloring. Here’s a kit from Laura Geller that’s out now, but it’s not quite as good as mine. I think if you watch their site, they change up things often. I wanted to share as I’m really loving this kit. It must have been a holiday special.
Here are all the links again in the shopping widget, just click through. There are also a few more things from the resort collection that caught my eye. Happy shopping!
I love Celebrity Cruise line, my favorite of any I have sailed on. If you will be on a newer Edge class ship you are really in for a treat. I was on the Beyond last year and it was a stunner. The older, smaller ships also have their upside. We will cruise with them again in April and I can’t wait. Have fun! FYI…if you don’t have a beverage package but enjoy wine, I believe Celebrity still allows cruisers to bring on one 750ml bottle of wine per person. I have done this in the past and just ask your cabin steward at the beginning of the cruise to provide you with fresh wine glasses in your cabin each day. Enjoy your trip!
Thank you! We aren’t on an Edge ship, I heard those are pretty great, but we’re on the older Equinox and I hear it’s nice too. We are in for a treat!
Enjoy your cruise and your new clothes! We just returned from a Viking West Indies Explorer…I took some new warm weather items, and now it is 16 degrees here in PA so I am packing them all away until summer. I use Laura Geller and LOVE it. Just enough coverage without being heavy make up. Safe travels!
Thank you, Ann, I’m really looking forward to it. And yes on the Laura Geller, I’m impressed with it!
I LOVE the navy blue dress on you the best. I tried L. Geller powder foundation with her primer and I felt it made my wrinkles more obvious! The blush did too. But the brush is awesome. Have a fun cruise.
You look great! Thanks for sharing.
really happy to finally see someone talking about Geller. and that it is from someone i trust
Have a great trip! Sounds like fun. Love all the Chico pieces. I too use Laura Geller and the Spackle Primer I feel is so worth the investment. You look amazing and it is very flattering on you. I too have a little more mature skin and I love how it feels. If you haven’t tried check out Beekman skin products. I have said bye bye to all my old skin products. They are clean products and you will love them. They also offer a free online skin consult with an Esthetician. I took advantage of that and loved it.
