Ritz Crackerfuls Review & $100 Giveaway

{Giveaway is closed}

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Ritz.

I’ve mentioned before that I could seriously make a meal out of cheese and crackers (and a little fruit thrown in for good measure) and I often do that for lunch.  I think a lot of women could get by on less food if we didn’t have our hubbies to worry about.  Cheese and crackers definitely won’t cut it for my man, but when left to my own wishes, I will choose a lunch of cheese and crackers many times.

Last year, I got a chance to try out Ritz Crackerfuls and really enjoyed them and this year, they have even more flavors, like Cheddar Cheese and Bacon.  YUM, could that combo be any better?  I received a few sample packs in the mail and have been munching away. These are great for grabbing on the go. Each one is individually wrapped in cellophane to keep it fresh and sometimes when I’m on the way to the gym, I just need something to tide me over until I can get a real meal.  These will do the trick and keep those hunger pangs at bay!

My days aren’t always predictable and can vary from day to day, from gym time to running errands and grocery shopping, to antiques browsing and yardsaling, so I spend a good bit of time on the run.

Each is made with 6 grams of whole grains and real cheese, so you can feel good about what you are eating and know that it is substantial enough to keep you going until you have time for your next meal.

I try not to snack a whole lot in between meals, but there are times I don’t have time to really sit down and eat, so that’s when one of these generously sized Crackerfuls will come in handy.  Grab and go, easy and fast in the car and on the run.  That’s where I am many days and I imagine you are too.

So, tell me what you do to tide you over between meals?  What sort of things do you grab on the go to satisfy your hunger when you really don’t have time for a substantial lunch?

Up for grabs will be a $100 Visa gift card to one lucky winner! How fun is that?  All you have to do is leave a comment to be eligible.

    Apples and peanut butter. Or just an apple. Hearty little fruit nips the bud on hunger pangs.

    I’m guilty of raiding the vending machine at work most afternoons. Cool Ranch Doritos are my downfall.

    A hot cup of tea and a snack (cheese and crackers are great) tides me over and helps me get through to my next meal.

    Hi Rhoda,
    Love your blog…..when I’m on the run I usually grab some fruit like green grapes, bannana, apple and then
    a granola bar. Yogurt with some granola ontop as well is fast. When I’m not in a big hurry usually a flour tortilla
    wrapped with left overs.

    I keep a jar of peanut butter in my desk drawer, so that when the 4 o’clock hungries hit, I can have a spoonful to tide me over until dinner.

    I always have trail mix or almonds available–a handful does very well as a snack. Also, having fruit and veggies to munch on from the refrigerator is good as well.
