This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Ritz.
I’ve mentioned before that I could seriously make a meal out of cheese and crackers (and a little fruit thrown in for good measure) and I often do that for lunch. I think a lot of women could get by on less food if we didn’t have our hubbies to worry about. Cheese and crackers definitely won’t cut it for my man, but when left to my own wishes, I will choose a lunch of cheese and crackers many times.
Last year, I got a chance to try out Ritz Crackerfuls and really enjoyed them and this year, they have even more flavors, like Cheddar Cheese and Bacon. YUM, could that combo be any better? I received a few sample packs in the mail and have been munching away.
These are great for grabbing on the go. Each one is individually wrapped in cellophane to keep it fresh and sometimes when I’m on the way to the gym, I just need something to tide me over until I can get a real meal. These will do the trick and keep those hunger pangs at bay!
My days aren’t always predictable and can vary from day to day, from gym time to running errands and grocery shopping, to antiques browsing and yardsaling, so I spend a good bit of time on the run.
Each is made with 6 grams of whole grains and real cheese, so you can feel good about what you are eating and know that it is substantial enough to keep you going until you have time for your next meal.
I try not to snack a whole lot in between meals, but there are times I don’t have time to really sit down and eat, so that’s when one of these generously sized Crackerfuls will come in handy. Grab and go, easy and fast in the car and on the run. That’s where I am many days and I imagine you are too.
So, tell me what you do to tide you over between meals? What sort of things do you grab on the go to satisfy your hunger when you really don’t have time for a substantial lunch?
Up for grabs will be a $100 Visa gift card to one lucky winner! How fun is that? All you have to do is leave a comment to be eligible.

I try to bring a piece of fruit with me and water – it will keep me satisfied until I get a chance to eat.
Berries in any form, low in calories, sweet and great for me
A piece of fruit or a handful of nuts is usually enough to tide me over! Thanks!
I’ll usually have some grapes or some string cheese.
I will grab a handful of cashews or almonds and a few pretzels and that will fill me up until my next meal.
I have a handful of nuts and drink water. Sometimes I cheat and have 2 Dove Promises too. : )
I mainly eat almonds to tide me over between meals or I just drink some water.
I usually grab some sort of fruit like bananas.
Fiber One Cereal and Calorie Countdown milk is my “smart snack”….low calorie, low fat, high fiber, tasty and filling!
A bannana or yogurt usually do the trick for me.
I try to keep a little container of raw almonds and also some nonrefrigerated type fruit snacks like mandarin oranges or pineapple, in my desk for a quick snack.
For a quick lunch, I make a cheese sandwich and grab a piece of fruit. Then, I tend to snack on popcorn the rest of the afternoon.
When I don’t have time for lunch, I like to much on popcorn, nuts and baby carrots. Filling and nutritions
For a quick meal, I’ll cut up slices of colby cheese and have a bowl of dry cereal.
I grab some string cheese or a bag of Doritos. I know bad…but its there.
yep a few crackers sometimes, an apple or other fruit
Raisins! They’re naturally sweet, good for you, portable, and they don’t spoil if left out.
I grab fruit, especially apples.
I handful of walnuts or cottage cheese!
Between meals I like to grab trail mix or a piece of fruit, and I’m like you in that cheese and crackers are a perfect meal when I’m eating alone
