Segreto Style

Old world style is beautiful and I see many homes with old world charm and all the details that go along with that.  I don’t have that kind of home myself, but I can’t help but be captivated by these traditional types of homes with molding, beautiful finishes, and more.  Always classic, these stunning homes never go out of style.

Leslie Sinclair, with Segreto Finishes, who is one of my regular commenters here on the blog, is a blogger, and began her career as a decorative artist in 1995, when she started Segreto Finishes in the Houston area. Leslie’s passions are interior design, architecture, art, people, and business.  With over 35 artisans, her company is a premier finish design firm in Houston and their work has been featured all over numerous national publications.

She has Georgia roots, she told me and is such a down to earth person.  I haven’t met her in person, but I know we would hit it off. She’s in the process of renovating her current home in Houston and one of these days, when she is finished, I’m going to feature her on my Feature Friday series.

Even though my home is not nearly as grand as these pictured, I’m sure I can get ideas on how to energize my own home.

I love the Old World style of this Butler’s pantry.  Notice the paint finish on the cabinetry, such a warm and vintage look.

Even though I will probably never live in a house as grand as these are, I can garner ideas and inspiration for my own home.
