Shopping with HauteLook

Shopping online has gotten more and more popular and I’m one of those folks who likes to shop online as much as I can.  You can often find items for better prices online and it’s just plain fun to shop in your PJ’s, at least it is for me.  When I got the opportunity to check out a new to me shopping site called HauteLook, after clicking over and seeing that it’s a members-only shopping destination owned by Nordstrom’s, I knew they would have some great quality products and I was pleasantly surprised to see the prices were really reasonable too.

Getting a chance to shop online for clothes or housewares, yes please!

I got $100 credit in my account to shop with and had fun browsing all the categories, from Women’s clothing and shoes, to home items too.  There are lots of great things to see on HauteLook and you do have to shop quickly though, because when a deal is sold out, it’s gone.  It’s a limited time, limited inventory sale event and the prices are up to 75% off retail.  That’s my kind of shopping!

Since I’ll be attending a couple of Christmas parties this year, I wanted to find a pretty and festive top to go with black pants.  My closet is full of black and white since that is typically what I go for. You just can’t get any more classic than black and white, so I knew that a black Holiday top would be perfect to have in my closet.  I quickly found a sleeveless number with lace at the top and a cute peplum waist that I thought would work great with black pants.  I can dress it up with some jewelry and it will be perfect for going out during this month of festivities.

Here’s my fancy lace top with peplum waist, perfect for dressing up or down.

This black and white sweater will get lots of use from me too and I can pair it with jeans or black pants or skirt.  Again, dressing it up or down.

For more ideas on shopping at HauteLook for the Holiday Christmas season, I put together an idea board of some of the fun things I saw over there.  I love all of these items and could definitely see any of them at my house.

So, if you’re looking for a few more ideas for those on your list, you might want to check out HauteLook.

  1. I love this set of makeup brushes, those are a must for every woman.
  2. These mercury glass owls are so cute for a bookshelf. Owls are so popular again!
  3. This pretty silver ice bucket would come in handy for your Christmas parties.
  4. Everyone needs a basic black jacket and this one is so stylish and affordable.
  5. This copper tray is beautiful for carrying drinks or use in a vignette on a table or shelf.
  6. These stacking rings may have to come home with me.  Love them!  In fact, I loved them so much I ordered them in celebration of my birthday this Friday!  Yay.  I got the last one.
  7. I can see these glass and brass square candle holders useful for all seasons.
  8. I adore mercury glass Christmas ornaments and these hearts  are so tiny and petite.
  9. Black and white again, these flats are so cute and I could totally see them on my feet.

Just wanted to introduce you to HauteLook and share with you my shopping experience.  My two items arrived in the mail and they are both really nice and pretty. I’ll definitely be wearing them during this Christmas season to parties and out and about.

HauteLook features Women’s and Men’s apparel, accessories, and shoes, as well as kids’ apparel and toys, beauty brands, and home décor.   Members can also shop the convenient and fun “best-of-the-best” edited selection to see the best and most popular items on HauteLook that day.  And HauteLook adds new brands and sales daily that start at 8AM Pacific.

Check out HauteLook for yourself, for free to start shopping and to find out about their latest sales on the hottest fashion, home and beauty brands.  I think you’ll enjoy browsing as much as I did!

Note: This is a sponsored post by HauteLook. I was compensated for my time to share this post and also given $100 to shop on HauteLook.  All items that I bought and ideas shared are all my own opinions.

Cute stuff for sure. But I don’t like being required to sign up for something before seeing the merchandise. I passed.

How did you create the Holiday Idea Board?

Hi, Kim, there are several ways to do these boards, but I’m not that good with graphics, so I did this in Olioboard. It’s a site that lets you save pics from all over and then you can drag the pics over to a board and set it all up the way you want it on that board. Then I took a screen shot of that with my scissors tool on my laptop and saved the jpg. pic. Then I added the border and letters/numbers in Photoscape, a free photo editing tool that I use most of the time. It’s one I can actually understand! I haven’t gotten into PHotoshop yet.

Recently I decided to look through the internet in search of some interesting clothing items. All my friends are buying clothes through the internet, so I decided to do the same thing. I think it is very easy and it doesn`t require a lot of time as a usual shopping.

I’ve been shopping from HauteLook for several years now and have always had a great experience! A couple of other sites like it are Gilt and Rue La La. I’ve had great luck with all three and they all have great deals!!!!
