Vinyl on the walls is still very hot and there’s a really cool vinyl site online called Sissy Little that I’ve checked out lately. They asked me to do a review and giveaway for them, so I’m going to share this fun site with all of you too.
I passed on this opportunity to my niece, newlywed Lauren for her to try out a vinyl in their loft in New Orleans.
They have this space at the end of a hallway going into the master bedroom that could use a little something-something. Right by this way cool arched brick wall that is part of the charm of architecture in New Orleans.
We looked online and decided on a large tree branch with flowers and thought that white would make the most impact on their teal blue walls.
Lauren got in her vinyl and set to work on this wall and did a good job documenting it all for me.
She taped it on the wall and used a special plastic tool to rub off the vinyl onto the wall.
Then it’s time to pull back the paper backing, revealing the beautiful white branch.
Looking pretty already!
But a bare branch needs a little bling, don’t you think?
She decided on khaki flowers to go on her branches.
They come separately, so you can place them wherever you want on those branches. Decorate away!
After the flowers go on, it really comes alive.

The Sea Oats for the powder room. The Wildflowers for the foyer. The Tail of the Whale for the landing leading to the basement–it’d look like it was diving into the basement and be sort of cool. The pirate ship or anchor for the boy’s room. Decisions, Decisions…
probably a monogram! but who knows – they have so much cute stuff!

Lauren’s tree looks fabulous! I love their Polaroid pictures! What a fun way to display treasured photos! I have yet to experience vinyl-this would be a fun way to get started. Thank you for all of the fun giveaways to try for!
I love these, they are adorable!! There are so many great ones! I would have to choose the Kitty cats if I won, my toddler son loves kitty cats. Unfortunately, his dad is allergic… so a vinyl would be great! Thanks for the post.

I LOVE the “Sailing on Stars”….. It would be just perfect for our grandson’s bedroom.
So many cute designs to select from but I would choose the surfboard if I won. I have 2 granddaughters who surf. They would just love that surfboard for their room.

Hi! I have been looking for vinyl decore. I was really looking for vinyl on furniture which I have done recently and looks great! Love the chanderliers…the apply a day…so many decisions….hummmm…thanks Linda
