This event is something I look forward to every spring, touring the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine, Southeastern Designer showhouse and this year was no exception. Located in Atlanta’s exclusive Tuxedo Park neighborhood, the 10,250 s.f. house is packed with modern interpretations of classic styles. Built by Benecki Homes and Benecki/Cole and architect Amanda Orr Architects, landscape architect Land Plus Associates, and interior specification design team Source.
This traditional, clean-lined exterior and classic silhouette allow the 3-story home to blend seamlessly with the neighboring residences. Twin gables add classic charm, while transitional exterior details include a cedar shake roof, painted brick exterior, steel windows, and sculpted steel doors. As always, the showhouse showcases the Southeast’s best design talents, as well as the industry’s latest trends and leading brands.
I’ll share all the interior designers and their rooms as I share the tour with my own pictures. It’s picture heavy, so be prepared for loading times.
Honorary co-chairs for this year’s house are the duo Mark Williams and Niki Papadopoulos, Williams Papadopoulos Design. The proceeds from the house will benefit Camp Twin Lakes, a therapeutic camp with programs for children and families living with serious illnesses, disabilities, and life challenges. The beautiful swing bed is from Gibbs House Fine Porch Swings.

I hope you enjoyed the tour today of the Southeastern Designer Showhouse for 2024. It’s always a treat to see, even if everything isn’t my taste or style, I still get inspired by all the beautiful finishes and furnishings. Enjoy the tour!
Amazing tour but like you-definitely not my style. I did love the one bedroom with the twin beds (green). Always interesting to see these showcase homes.
I think the painting in the breakfast room put me off this house. Who wants to have breakfast in front of a murder scene? Very odd. Did anyone else see it this way?
You’re right, I didn’t even stop and look that close, but much of the art was definitely not my style. I don’t get it, when they try to go for shocking!
In an effort to maintain positivity, I am positive that a lot money was invested, and I know each designer worked overtime on this project, but for me most of it is a hard pass. Thanks for allowing your readers to get a glimpse into the world of high design. :0
Becky, I hear you loud and clear!
It is way more style and house than I would ever need. But I did see some things I liked — especially Bedroom 3 and Bath. I loved the colors in it and the general quirkiness. It really felt it was tailored to a particular person and told a story. I also loved the screen in the study and the primary bedroom was very pretty.
