As always in the spring, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine presents the Southeastern Designer Showhouse, spring edition in the Chastain Park neighborhood. I’m always happy to get an invitation to the preview and this year it was really stunning. I loved most of it and enjoyed all the color, texture and design details that are prevalent in a showhouse. Today I’m sharing Part 1, but there was so much to share, I’ll do Part 2 next week. Prepared to be wow’d!

This year’s showhouse is a collaboration between design-build dream team, builder Hask Custom Homes, architect Linda MacArthur Architect; landscape architect Floralis Garden Design, and interior specifications designer Claudia Stimmel. With top design talents across the southeast, you’ll see the work  of design firms from Atlanta, Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, and beyond. This year’s Honorary Chair is Randy and Courtney Tilinski of Bungalow Classic and the beneficiary of this renowned event is Solidarity Sandy Springs. It’s a wonderful way to give back and see a beautiful house, designed top to bottom with eye-catching finishes and beautiful design details and furnishings. The European transitional home is 8,750 s.f., with classic limestone accents, 6 bedrooms, 6.5 baths. You’ll see curved walls in a plaster finish, herringbone floors, the latest products from handmade tile from Walker Zanger, polished nickel and unlacquered brass fixtures from PDI, wide planked hardwood floors, refined classic natural stones, custom cabinetry by Bell Cabinetry. Enjoy the showhouse! If you’re local, I’d definitely recommend going in person. The house is open until May 10th, so get your ticket online and find a day that works for you.

The exterior of the house is brick with classic limestone accents.

Dining Room: Helen Hanavich Interior Design with Bungalow Classic

Sidenote: I really loved the dining room with the wallpaper and barrel ceiling!

Stair Hall, Main-Level Hallway, Lower-Level Hallway, & Lower-Level Powder Room: The Design Editors

Kitchen, Scullery, & Breakfast Room: Claudia Stimmel Interiors with Bell Cabinetry through Construction Resources

Study & Vestibule: Holt Interiors

Living Room: Kim Mauncey Interiors

Family Room: Stanton Home Furnishings

Sidenote: I met Jimmy Stanton years ago and really love his work. It was great to see him this showhouse!

Foyer & Primary Bedroom Alcove: Anna Booth Interiors

Primary Bedroom: Lauren Elaine Interiors

Primary Bathroom & His & Hers Closets: The Selective Design

Outdoor Kitchen: Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio (they were still working on this area)

Loggia: Suzanne Kasler Interiors with McKinnon and Harris

This space was gorgeous!

What a house, right?! I hope you all enjoyed the first part of this tour and I’ll be back next week with Part 2. It’s a magnificent house, filled with design inspiration. I always get inspired when I see all the beautiful finishes and furnishings in a showhouse. You can find Part 2 of the Showhouse here, please see both parts for the full house!
