{Giveaway is Closed}

The winner is:  Laura with  Top This, Top That!  Congrats, Laura!

A fun group of ladies have coordinated a brand new blogging conference in Raleigh, NC in October, dubbed the Southern Blogger’s Conference and they have ask ME to speak.  I’m honored and it should be a fun time in this Southern city of talking shop about blogging and doing a little thrifting along the way too.  My friends, Barb and Shirley are 2 of the main ladies heading up the planning committee and I met both of them at Haven.

This will be my kind of weekend!

If you’d like to join me, I’m giving away one ticket today, so all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me you’d love to go!  Please only sign up if you know you can attend!

I look forward to meeting up with some new bloggers that I’ve never met before.  There will be some blogging topics and some decorating topics, as well as a shopping day for those interested.

Hope you’ll join us!

    I’m so excited to be able to meet you at the conference! I had really wanted to attend Haven this year, but wasn’t able to so this will be great. I’ve been working with Barb and Shirley and three other gals on the planning committee for the conference and it’s been so fun getting know them all!

    I’ve been sitting on the fence about starting a blog. This sounds like a great opportunity to learn more.

    Rhoda – I’d love to see you in action again and meet some other amazing bloggers who I feel like I already know but have yet to meet. I’m not a Southerner but I’ll happily drink lots of sweet tea and say “bless your heart” all day long! If I win, I’d love to arrange group of Northern girls so we can road trip down to NC together – we’ll be the Thelma & Louise of bloggers!
    I feel like I’m in second grade when I say this to you (picture me with my hand raised): “pick me, pick me”!

    I would loveto win a ticket to the Blog Conference. I’ve been unemployed since mid-June and ran acoss you blog one day while online. This opened a whole new world for me that I never knew existed – all these wonderful blogs about decorating, thrifting, and being southern. I am born and raised in the South and love all things southern. Going to the conference would allow me to meet other bloggers and learn as I have been thinking about starting a blog but have No clue how to begin. But I think I would love it; being home all day it would give me opportunity to meet and interact with other women that share the same interests.
