{Giveaway is Closed}

The winner is:  Laura with  Top This, Top That!  Congrats, Laura!

A fun group of ladies have coordinated a brand new blogging conference in Raleigh, NC in October, dubbed the Southern Blogger’s Conference and they have ask ME to speak.  I’m honored and it should be a fun time in this Southern city of talking shop about blogging and doing a little thrifting along the way too.  My friends, Barb and Shirley are 2 of the main ladies heading up the planning committee and I met both of them at Haven.

This will be my kind of weekend!

If you’d like to join me, I’m giving away one ticket today, so all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me you’d love to go!  Please only sign up if you know you can attend!

I look forward to meeting up with some new bloggers that I’ve never met before.  There will be some blogging topics and some decorating topics, as well as a shopping day for those interested.

Hope you’ll join us!

    I would love to win a ticket to the Southern Bloggers Conference. I’m fairly new to blogging (2 year) but have only recently really begun to get into it. None of my friends or family blog (except for one niece). No one gets how awesome it is to meet online friends who share so much in common with you. I know I’d feel like I was with my own “people” ha.
    I was born in Virginia but grew up and still live in Florida. I’m southern through and through. Would love the chance to go this year. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Hi Rhoda,
    Having just moved to Raleigh a year ago and at the same time discovering your blog, I am truly addicted to everything Southern. I feel I am a southern gal at heart, it just took me a while to get here by way of Ohio! I have so enjoyed your blog and look forward to reading it everyday. Now I want to learn more about blogging and know your the gal to teach me. I would love to attend the conference and hope to see all it has to offer in person. Thank you for sharing 🙂

    Ronda,
    What a great opportunity! I have just started blogging and would love to learn from such experienced bloggers, as yourself. I live about 2 and 1/2 hours from Raleigh. How would I get in touch with the organizers of this conference to learn more abut it? I so enjoy your blog!

I’m wanting to start a blog so badly but fear I won’t do it justice! I know I’d enjoy sharing my thrifty finds & projects almost as much as I enjoy reading y’alls! I’ve already bought my ticket, so I’m not eligible for the drawing. But I did want to say how much I was looking forward to my first conference, and meeting some great bloggers, you included! Can’t wait for your presentation, and tagging along for a thriftin’ outing! Going to be a great weekend! 🙂
