If you’re in the Atlanta area and looking for a spring outing, look no further than Scottsdale Farms. They are near Milton, GA and I recently met a friend there for browsing and then we had lunch. It’s out in the countryside and the drive there from my house in Acworth is so pretty along winding backroads and picturesque horse farms along the way. I’ve shared Scottsdale Farms several years ago, but it’s been years so I wanted to share again.
Scottsdale Farms is a nursery, a cafe and home decor shop all wrapped into one fun destination. It’s definitely a destination trip, as you wouldn’t stumble across it unless you were in the area. It is out in the country, but worth the drive.
I met up with my longtime friend, Maureen, who I’ve known for 24 years now. We both share a love of flowers and decorating, so we became instant friends back then and have stayed in touch ever since. We live on opposite sides of Atlanta from each other, so we always try to meet somewhere in the middle where we can browse some pretty things and have lunch. We didn’t have lunch here that day, but decided to go down the street to 7 Acre Grill for lunch and it was delicious too. Scottsdale has a nice lunch too of sandwiches, maybe salads and simple offerings.
Outside, you’ll see a huge variety of planters to choose from, so this is a good place to look for those things.
They have so much to choose from as well as lots of healthy plants.
Inside and out, you will love browsing the wares at Scottsdale Farms.
We took a stroll around all the plants and dreamed of what we might plant this year. I hope to get my plants in planters before we leave for our Italy trip this year.
They have a nice variety of shrubs and flowers.
Also lots of garden ornaments and decor for the garden. I’m not sure who would buy Big Foot, but my hubby, Mark might. He said one time he was going to buy a Big Foot statue and put it in our woods, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
The heuchera was so pretty. I forgot about these plants but love them.
They even have a koi pond.
Inside is their cute cafe, the Rock Room. We ate there the first time we met there and it was nice too.
Inside, is a treasure trove of home decor and they were really stocked up for spring. From faux flowers and plants, to lots of home decor accessories, furniture and more.
Their buyer and stylist does a wonderful job with the displays and vignettes.
It all draws you in and you want to buy everything!
But then you remember you’d have to get rid of things before you bring home more!
Like this bunny pillow! I still have a thing for bunnies, but I didn’t bring him home.
There were bunnies everywhere. Spring is the time for bunnies!
Love those Lake pillows.
Blue and white and green are such a wonderful spring combo that gets me everytime.
These were faux lilies, but looked so real.
Grandmillennial paradise!
You’ll find so many great gift ideas, from books to linens, pillows and lots more table accessories.
Another bunny pillow!
This blue and white table definitely caught my eye.
They even have women’s clothing and accessories.
So much to enjoy and see at Scottsdale. We sure enjoyed our visit again and if you’re looking for a fun outing spot this spring, definitely check it out. One of my readers was going to be in town in the area and she asked me for a good place go for plants and decor and I told her to go here. She wrote me back after going and said that she and her friends loved it!

Rhoda! Go back and get the green bunny pillow- it NEEDS to be in your kitchen chair in the bay window- all the time! I can’t believe you didn’t get it. But I understand! At some point you have to say no. But that was a hard “no”. Lol!

Hi Vicki, I know, I just walk away more and more now. it was cute though!

I also loved the blue table, that color of blue is a favorite. I also like blue and yellow which is in my kitchen. If I lived in Georgia, I would haunt Scottsdale. It looked like all the things I enjoy buying. Thanks for sharing this place.

I LOVE places like this. I live way up here in NE Ohio and I am waiting another month to start planning and potting my plants. Thanks for the tour.

The property looks beautiful and the yard art looks interesting. I’m going to save this so I can visit next time I’m in the Atl. area.
