Sharing some spring decorating tips and ideas for you today and I hope you enjoy these. I’m not an all out change everything up decorator for the seasons, but I do like to pull out a few fresh things that speak to each season we are in. Spring calls for pinks and greens and I love both of those in my home mixed with my blue and white palette. Come along as I add a few things to the living room, dining room, foyer, mantel and kitchen shelves.

Tip #1: Add fresh flowers or greenery in a pretty container.
You really don’t need much for a coffee table. I usually add some faux or fresh tulips since they really are such a beautiful spring flower. I happen to love pink flowers, but choose what works best for your home.
I love wicker and rattan and this vase is wonderful for showcasing spring decor. I’ve had this bunny for a long time and it’s a perfect complement. I made these chinoiserie eggs a few years ago and bring them out every year. They are an easy decoupage project.
I keep it simple on the coffee table by just adding a few spring touches. Easy peasy!
I kept it simple this year on the foyer table too, with my textured basket holding faux greenery (see the shopping widget below for mine), a cute bunny on a brass tray and a cute easel with small oil painting.
Here’s another look at the simplicity. Sometimes less is more for me.
I do love this basket I picked up a couple years ago and this greenery is really easy to work with. You can buy 2 stems or 6 and you’ll see the links below.
I did get a new burlwood tray in the dining room this year (a birthday present!) and I love it in burlwood. I’ve got it linked below, but the link is here too. It goes so well with my rattan flatware.
I enjoy my vintage vases and this blue/green one is perfect for adding faux cherry blossoms. I found that metal bunny last year, I think it was TJ Maxx online.
The vase picks up the colors in the eggs too. I found this hydrangea runner a couple years ago at Homegoods and I love it this time of year. These faux cherry blossoms are from Afloral and I would recommend spending a little more to get good quality. These are really pretty and look so real.
My green Bordallo bunny dishes steal the show this time of year and I have to get them out. I still love them after collecting them all more than 25 years ago. This bamboo flatware is on sale right now on Amazon for $20 (set of 4) and they are really good looking too. I only have one set of them, but I might get another.
I hope this gives you some ideas on setting a pretty spring table in greens and pinks, always a winner combination.
Tip 2: Set your table for the season.
I really enjoy seeing the table set for the seasons, it just makes me happy when I walk past there everyday and it’s so much more interesting than an empty table. I confess, we don’t eat at our table very often, but having it set is really nice.
The mantel got a few faux greenery stems as well, the same ones in the foyer. And I added tall cherry blossoms to these since I had two of them and they add a little pink here. I love my Staffordshire type dogs for the season.
Keeping it simple in blue and white.
Tip #3: Use easels and plate holders to display pretty dishes.
Since I have a lot of these green Bordallo dishes, they look great on my kitchen rustic shelves, so they are perfect for spring. I love all the pieces I have, as well as this pretty ceramic bunny I picked up years ago. The oil painting is special too and I’ve had these pieces for many years and still enjoy getting them out.
With a pretty oil painting on a bamboo easel, these pieces look fresh for the season even though I’ve had all of this for a long long time! One of my bamboo easels is vintage and the other is fairly new, but I’ve linked a couple of sources below.
I hope you got some ideas for spring decorating, thank you for stopping by!
