Spring Fluffing & Open Sky Fun

Picture 001

Spring is here, in spite of how cool it’s been, so I decided it was time to bring out some of my Spring-y things to add some color to the dining room table.  I pulled out some of my creamware collection, added in a few bunnies, nests, and starfish and it makes for a cute arrangement just in time for Easter. Picture 002

These white bowls and the cake plate with cloche are always fun to decorate with.  Picture 003

This starfish looks like he’s dancing on top of a candlestick.  Picture 012

And my sweet little white birdies make a great addition to the tablescape. Picture 013

These bunnies on a stick from Pier One were flying all over blogland last year, did you get any? Picture 019

And maybe I should have gotten a couple more of those.  Hopefully, they will have them out again this year.Picture 030

You can’t go wrong with green, white and natural materials for a tablescape.

Spring has arrived.Picture 023

Lovin’ how they all brighten up the table. Picture 027

Hello, Spring! Picture 028

With just a few of these elements brought together on the table, it sure makes you happy. Picture 029

And the great thing about all of this is that you can reuse them year after year.  I just keep them stashed in a closet until

it’s time to get them out again to play. Open Sky collage

You’ll see all of the above very fun items in my Open Sky shop and they are all very reasonably priced, so I hope you’ll go over and take a look at them for your Spring decor needs.

And here’s some fun and exciting news.  My Open Sky shop is having a great promotion this week on a couple of these items.  Click on my new Open Sky button that I made all by myself to see all the products:

Parisian Cake Plate

For the next week, from today, the 24th through March 31st, I’ll be able to offer you a 25% discount coupon on the Large Parisian footed cake plate AND the domes, so that’s a really fun deal!  The coupon code is CAKE25, just enter that at checkout to get your discount!  This is a great time to take advantage of the sale and get both the dome and cake plates together. And those cake plates comes in several FUN colors, including white.

Just a note:  The small cake plate and small dome are out of stock at the moment, so you would have to purchase the Large. Large dome goes with the Large cake plate and the Medium dome can go with either the Small cake plate or Large cake plate.

I hope you’ll take advantage of the sale and bring home some of these fun and Springy items to your home!  I do know that many of you do not have access to yardsales and flea markets like we do here and that it might be hard to find some of these home decor items in your town, so I’m happy to offer them in my shop and I hope you enjoy them too.

Happy Spring to you!

Added to Susan’s Tablescape Thursday.

Rhoda…..Love, Love your tablescape, so awesome! I love those bunnies…..the nearest Pier One is 30min from me, but worth the drive to see if they have them out this year…..I must have been living under a rock last year and missed’em…but I don’t shop much at “real” stores though, I am very much a thrift store, garage sale, flea market addict!
Also, love what you did with the star fish, very clever!

Your table is so cute! Love the starfish in the candlesticks! Yes, Pier 1 does have the bunnies on a stick (or they did as of last week).

Such a fun tablescape Rhoda! I love all of the natural elements that you used, yet it is still so festive. The little green bunnies are precious and can be used so many ways.

I hope all is well with you,
    Jennifer

I received my little white bird from your Open Sky store the other day and it was love at first sight. For now he/she is residing on my fireplace mantel with all my spring birdhouses. Now to go and check out those domes. I am in need of one.
