Hi friends! It’s really warming up in Georgia finally, after a few false starts and freezing weather back and forth, so I got my spring things out to decorate the house with and it looks really pretty around here. We went to St. Simons for a long weekend last weekend and I’ll share that later with you too. Today, I’ve got a few new things in the dining room to share with you that are perfect for spring! If you haven’t noticed yet, I really love using blues and greens in our house and those are the colors I’m drawn to, so it makes it easy to decorate for spring since those colors are so prominent.

I keep it pretty simple and just add a pretty spring arrangement on the coffee table.

This blue and white pitcher is vintage and I found it thrifting and the faux tulips I bought at a local shop. Here’s a pretty bunny pitcher that I’ve seen in several homes and I have a page of similar faux tulips and other faux plants if you’re interested in faux. These pink tulips look so real! That bunny was a gift. The marble tray is from World Market and is now marked down to $13, if you want to grab one.

Living room to foyer.

Shot above the glass coffee table.

On the foyer table, I kept it pretty simple too with blue and white and a bamboo piece that holds stems. Three blue and white vases anchor the bottom shelf.

Keeping it simple, but really adds a spring touch.

These decoupage eggs I did several years ago and now I just bring them out every year and they look nice in this blue and white chinoiserie bowl.

These faux flowers came from Magnolia in Waco, TX a few years ago.

And this cute bunny fellow was found online at Marshalls, I think it was. Here’s a similar standing bunny in my Amazon shop.

I bought this cute bamboo stem holder last year and love it too. These smaller faux tulips I got at Magnolia and they fit this little vase holder perfectly.

The dining room table has a couple of new things that I’ll share with you. Notice the cute bunny planter in the middle? I went on a thrifting bus trip again a couple of weeks ago (I’ll share that with you later too!) and found him at a thrifty store and had to have him.

Isn’t he adorable? I’m sure he’s vintage, there are no markings on the bottom, but he looks older. I knew with his pink nose and ears, these faux cherry blossoms would look great in there. Here are some similar cherry blossoms.

The star of the table is my Bordallo Pinheiro bunny dishes that I collected back in the 1990’s. I found these all at TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls and I’m so glad I picked the up. I still have price tags on some of them and the plates were around $4.99 each and any of the serving pieces, like the platters and teapot are now worth quite a bit of money. I looked them up recently at online sites that sell dishes and they are going for a pretty penny! My collection is probably worth at least $1,000. Here is the same bamboo flatware that a I have. I’ve got a few cabbageware pieces curated too, but if you want to see my bunny dishes and the prices now, check out this Replacements page.

I love setting a pretty table.

Another look at this cute guy, he makes me happy!

Table setting. I don’t have a link for my dark brown bamboo placemats, but here are lighter ones. Here’s a darker brown too I found.

Another Bordallo piece and did you notice this gorgeous chinoiserie table runner? It’s from Amazon and only $11.99. I got one in and loved it so much, I got another for my sideboard. It’s the perfect complement to my bunny dishes and all the green and blue I use in here.

According to Replacements, this teapot is worth $299 now. Quite an appreciation in price!

Another runner on the sideboard, with my simple bamboo candle holders and another bunny that I collected years ago.

He’s such a cutie and I will keep him forever.

Another look at the table.

Simple faux florals in a cane wrapped vase (similar vase).

I’m really keeping it simple in the family room these days, since I bought that giclee print, I want to keep it up all the time. It especially goes well from spring to summer.

Those sconces add a nice touch, especially since I recovered the shades with fabric.Â

The French cupboard has a bunny oil painting, found years ago thrifting along with some more of my Bordallo pieces. Thank you for stopping by our spring home today! I hope you are inspired to add a few spring things to your home too.

Love all your Spring decorating especially your vintage bunnies!
I love your dishes and bunnies and how you’ve incorporated them in your spring decor. I especially love your table setting and pretty runner.
Thank you Sharon, I do enjoy them all.
I always enjoy seeing your Bordallo bunny pieces! I love the tradition of bringing them out every year. Your new bunnies are beautiful! The grandkids can go on a bunny hunt!
Happy Easter to you and Mark and all the family.

Thank you my friend!
So, so pretty!!! I especially love your table setting with the bamboo flatware and green Bordallo Pinheiro dishes!! Isn’t it wonderful when something you just love becomes a collector’s item??!!
The table runner is beautiful too!
Thank you Diana, I really enjoy those dishes every spring! I had no idea that they would become so collectible.
Love your spring home! FYI- I clicked on the cherry blossom link but a vase came up on Amazon. Thanks
This is my favorite: gentle, neutral backgrounds and furnishings with the accessories being the pops of color. Not how it is in my house, but refreshing to the eyes.
