Hello friends, thank you for the overwhelming support on the post about moving my parents. Your words of affirmation and comfort mean the world to us at this time, so thank you for that. We moved my dad to memory care in the building on Monday because he has to get help, we couldn’t go on day after day like it was over the weekend. We feel much better knowing he’s in good hands and there are people to help him. We hope he will get stable and better able to handle the new living situation in the future and we hope he can move back with mom eventually.
In the meantime, please enjoy these fall posts from me and my friends!

I hate it for your mom. She is the one suffering the brunt of his anger over the move .Hope he can adjust and go “home” soon
So sorry to hear about the challenges with your parents. Prayers for them and you in this stage of the circle of life.❤️❤️❤️
Sorry to hear about your dad. It is hard but you love him and you have to do what’s right for them both. Prayers🙏🏻
My favorite: “In the tender compassion of our God the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Luke chapter 1. This has helped me so much over the years. God bless you and your family.
Rhoda, you did the right thing in separating your Mom and Dad. Stepping in was truly a blessing in so many ways. Prayers for the whole family are being sent.🙏🏻
Prayers for you & your family. Things Will get better. You did the best thing.
Rhoda, continuing prayers for all. My heart goes out to you. One day at a time. With the good Lord at your side, you’ll get through this. xo
I believe God is guiding your steps . I pray God lightens your heart and continues to give your strength and peace each day. Please let your sweet mama know that I hope she is settling into her new home and enjoying being spoiled, she has earned it!! ❤️
Hugs to your family. What a painful situation to face. Hope your mom especially is doing okay with all the change she is facing. I think that “losing “ your spouse to dementia has to be harder than having them pass away. Glad you are close and can see her, and praying your dad can get help and return. Please let her know she is in our prayers.
you and your family are in my prayers – I can’t imagine how difficult the uncertainty of it all must be for your family; thankful you have each other and hope you can get through a day at a time –
Dear Rhoda, What a difficult step to move your dad into Memory care but hopefully, prayerfully, it will be just the right thing to help this situation. I am praying for your mom and dad, that with time things will be much better and that they will be able to be together once again. Prayers for all of you in the family too. God bless you all.
