Summer Fashion over 60

Here are a few things I found for summer fashion that caught my eye this season. I just cleaned out my closet (again!), so I’m really trying not to fill it back up again, but to enjoy the things I do have. I’m also trying to buy better brands that last longer and will make me want to keep them longer, so that’s also a goal. I have a few favorite brands that are my go to, like Chico’s and Talbot’s and I’ve also bought a few things from Land’s End, which I’ll share a new dress today from them, along with some other finds. It’s fun to get new things to add to the closet, but it also means the closet has to be cleaned out periodically.

That green dress that I shared recently was a Land’s End find and the fabric is cotton Modal or Tencel. I remember when that fabric came out years ago and I really like it and this dress also has Tencel, a semi-synthetic fabric that is soft and breathable. This coral red dress is just my color for Spring and I really like it. I had to order it in an XS, as the Small was way too big on the chest area and gapped badly around the armholes, so I sent it back and got an XS, which works. It has a stretch band on the backside of the waistline for extra room. Those little cutouts do show skin, but not enough to worry about. I think it will be a fun summer dress! I got it on sale for $54, but looks like the price as gone back up, but I bet they will lower it again.

I also saw this set of tank tops from Amazon somewhere out there and decided to order them and for the price, they are a good deal. They are soft polyester, rayon, and spandex, so should keep their shape pretty well. I like that they can be tucked in or worn out, with slits at the bottom. You can see the slits on the website photos. These colors are staples and for the price are great for layering. I got a Small and they fit me perfectly.

Thank you so much for posting about the tank top set. I have ordered a set. Thrilled to to have such a fit the way I like availabil. And, I wouldn’t have known about them except for you including them in your great blog. Thank you again.
