Thanksgiving Tablescape Ideas

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year? I’m not even sure what we are doing in our family, but I do know we will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day together. It’s always been one of my favorite holidays and we are wrapping up one of the craziest years ever, so let’s not skip over this thankful holiday but remember how much we have to be thankful for.

I enjoy setting our dining room table for the Holidays and this one is set for Fall or Thanksgiving, since Fall transitions right into the Thanksgiving season. Use whatever you have on hand to make your table pretty and festive!

I love our blue and white dining room and setting the table is one of my happy things to do. I don’t go out and buy a lot of new things for my dining able each year, but I try to come up with new ways to use what I have, making it feel special and pretty at the same time.

Setting the table makes it feel festive around here and I hope this gives you some ideas for a Thanksgiving tablescape that you can do as well. I use a lot of blue and white in my dining room, but use whatever colors you love and enjoy. The Fall colors go right along with the blue and white so it’s easy to mix things up.

I love this round basket I found at Homegoods awhile back. It is the perfect piece for my round table and it’s fun changing out the center piece. I also love elevating things on a white cake stand. This pretty glass pumpkin found long ago at Homegoods is the perfect display for Fall or Thanksgiving. Sitting on a small faux wreath elevates it and gives it even more importance.

I’ve had my bird dishes and linens for many years and continue to bring them out for these special occasion holidays. I love the black bamboo flatware I got for Christmas a couple years ago. I’ll share some of these items that I can source above in the shopping widget. I can’t even remember where I got the placemats, maybe Homegoods too, it’s been so long ago.

Glasses are from Mikasa and I love them too.

My vintage sideboard holds more blue and white pieces as well as a cutting of limelight hydrangeas I got from my own plants. They are perfect for drying for Fall and last a long time.

These blue and white pieces are collected from all different places over the years, estate sales, yardales, Bombay Company as well as Homegoods and Ross.

That cute little owl was in the goodie bag I got from Cotton Mill Exchange and came from the vendor, Robin Michael Rustic Design. He’s so cute!

I hope you enjoyed my dining room all decked out for Fall and Thanksgiving. It makes me happy to walk by here and see it all.

Please take time to visit my friends below for lots more Thanksgiving ideas. Wherever and however you are celebrating this year, we all have so much to be thankful for, don’t we?

It makes me happy to “walk” by and see your dining room too! I adore those lamps and your chandelier. They compliment one another so well.

I’m soooo glad to have family in town. There will be 20 for dinner with a new one. We are careful but we go n with life.

Very pretty and unique. A bit more symmetrical than I personally prefer.

What a beautiful, happy dining room! It looks beautiful with the sunlight pouring in. I still think those bamboo lamps are stunning and love that cute little owl. I know Thanksgiving plans are going to be a difficult decision for many families. We just got to go up to my 95 year old mother-in-law’s apartment for the first time since March. I spent yesterday cleaning it from top to bottom!

We’ll be altering Thanksgiving this year. My mother-in-law is 85 and we don’t want to take any chances. We usually have 12 to 15 people but not this year. We’ll still enjoy it, I love Thanksgiving.
