Back in October, I shared with you that I had been on a weekend trip to Gulf Shores, AL.  What I didn’t share was where I stayed and how pretty it all was.  We’ve been waiting til now, the cold January winter, to share this post and giveaway!  A reader of mine, Glenda, has a condo in Gulf Shores and she offered it to me for a weekend stay and a friend and I went back in October.  It happened to be stormy weather that weekend, so we didn’t see the sunshine like most of these pictures show, but it’s a gorgeous place in Gulf Shores, called The Beach Club.  That’s a link to the main page and Glenda has a page for her condo, the Gulf Shores Beach Getaway.
The Beach Club is an exclusive beachfront property in the Fort Morgan peninsula of Gulf Shores. Â It’s down a highway and very secluded and out of the way of the main traffic areas, so you are in for a retreat feel. It has everything you would want in a resort, from restaurants, to family and children’s activities, to beautiful beaches and sitting by the pool.
The Beach Club was voted in the Top 10 for Family vacation resorts by Family Vacation Critic.

It’s definitely a relaxing place to visit and stay. Â We loved the condo and the feel of the place, if only the weather was better for us. In the summer, I can see this place as bustling and energizing.

The boardwalk out back of the condos take you down to the beach.
Inside Glenda’s condo, it is beautifully appointed with coastal furnishings and a homey feel. Â It’s very spacious and cozy.
Looking from the kitchen to the living room, they have done a great job with updating the space and making it feel welcoming.
Beach condos are fun to stay in and offer so much more than a hotel does. Â I always prefer a condo when I’m going to the beach.
The master suite has a nice view of the pool and balcony.

I can imagine how busy and fun this pool would be in the summer months.
The clubhouse is gorgeous too. There’s a restaurant inside, but we didn’t get a chance to eat there during our stay.
The back of the property is beautiful and is right on the gorgeous white sand beach.

Of course, the beach is the big draw.

My husband and I recently celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary, but due to health problems, we were unable to go anywhere for a small vacation A getaway now would be wonderful.
Our family needs a beach vacation to help decompress with the going ons of life. We did not take a vacation last year and could definitely use the time together.
I have not had a vacation in YEARS! Have 2 grandsons ages 6 and 11, the oldest has special needs and somehow the past 11 years have whooshed by. Would love to be able to take the boys to the beach-has been a goal of mine forever but somehow things just haven’t seemed to gel for us. Boy do we all need it!
It is noon right now and it is -9 degrees. I could definitely use a get away from a Kansas City winter and it is only an hour from my son and his family who live in Alabama. It would be great to see all of them.

Who doesn’t need a beach vacation?!? 🙂 Audit season is wrapping up for me and a beach vacation would be a wonderful way to relax and rest.

I live in Wisconsin and today it is -25 degrees with the wind chill, need I say more. I would love to go somewhere where it is warm and I love the ocean.

Because my hubby and I have not had a vacation since 2005.
Oh, this sounds truly wonderful. Here in the Chicago suburbs we are “enjoying” TEMPS AROUND ZERO WITH WIND THROWN IN TO BOOT! I’ve been staying indoors and cleaning out my basement (not much fun at all). I’d love to look forward to a getaway like this at this beautiful beach resort.
A nice trip to the beach for relaxation is just what my family needs after the hectic Christmas season. I can hear the waves now!
Love the beach and would love to go one more time before hubby and I are too old to travel.
What a pretty place!
The wind chill is currently -13 degrees in Louisville, Kentucky. That’s why I need a getaway!
It’s very cold here In Ky. Would have to be warmer there on that pretty beach. It is so pretty, reminds me of the white sands in DESTIN where my husband and I would go and visit. I miss going there since my beloved husband went to be with the Lord almost two years ago.
There currently is an “Arctic blast” in Michigan with minus 0 windchills. I am so cold and I’m dreaming of the beach.
The beach is my happy place! Just looking at all that gorgeous white sand on the Gulf relaxes me. It has been calling my name recently ?
