I received another design book this week that I want to share with you. Talented Southern designer, Dana Wolter, has a new design book out, The Elegance and Comfort of Home (affiliate link) and it’s absolutely beautiful. Dana lives in Birmingham, AL and her chic Southern style features restful, collected and timeless and interiors. She’s an award winning interior designer who has been featured in Traditional Home, Southern Living, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, The Wall Street Journal, and House and Home. She was named to Traditional Home’s prestigious New Trad list. Here are some beautiful photos from her book, so you can get a sense of how pretty her style really is.
The cover is gorgeous. Dana’s goal when working with a client is to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but functional and livable for the entire family.
I’ve met Dana in person at ADAC and she is so warm and gracious. I’ve admired her talent for a long time and once when I was living in Birmingham, I even went to a yardsale of hers, but didn’t know who she was at the time. That was a fun yardsale!
Dana’s designs are truly timeless and elegant and anyone would enjoy having this design book on their coffee table.

She’s done homes on the Gulf in Florida in Alys Beach and as you can see, this is stunning.
