The Holidays are Coming! Let’s Party!

Hey y’all!

The girls and I are up to our tricks again this year and can’t resist once again, hosting Holiday/Christmas parties on our blogs.

So, join us won’t you for the 2011 Holiday Home link parties!

First up will be Layla, hosting table decor on Dec. 5.  I’ll be up next with mantels this year, on Dec. 7.  Kate is getting crafty with it on Dec. 12, and Sarah celebrates O Christmas Tree on Dec. 14.

Feel free to use my button on the mantel posts, if you’d like to link back:

Since I’ll be showing off mantels this time around, I’m taking over my sister’s family room mantel to decorate and style for Christmas.  I’ve got some fun plans up my sleeve this year and it involves these guys:

and this pretty white urn that just keeps on working for me:

And hopefully it will look something like this inspiration pic when I’m finished styling and playing …..{from Coastal Living, via My Home Ideas.com}

You’ll have to come back by to see how I do! 🙂

I hope you’ll all mark your calendars for these fun parties and you will find loads of inspiration on all the links.  It’s a fun way to get to know other bloggers and get to share your decorated and festive home for the Holidays with all of blogland.  So, even if you’re not having a party this year, we will all drop by and celebrate with you.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!  It will be here before we can blink. 🙂

Sounds like fun and I like your idea for the mantel. I’m sure yours will be even prettier than the photo that gave you the idea.

    Hugs,
    Kat

    Hi Rhoda,
The inspiration pic is gorgeous and I’m sure you’ll nail it!
But…..am I the only one who thinks paperwhites smell bad? Sorry : (

I went to Reeves Floral in Woodstock last week and I thought of you while I was there. Seriously! I love all their Christmas decor and bought a gorgeous piece for my mantel that has greenery, magnolia blooms and pinecones. I can’t wait to put it up for the holidays. I think I may clip some fresh Nandina from my yard and incorporate that in for color. I’ll be sure to send you a pic or link up 🙂

    Have fun!

It sounds like fun! I am really a newbie at the blogging, how do I link up to the party?
