The Knorr 4 Prize Pack Giveaway!

September 6, 2011 By Rhoda 329 Comments

After my win in CA with the Knorr 4, I’m excited to be a part of this team of ladies who will be representing Knorr products.  The Knorr concentrated chicken stock was a perfect fit with my mom’s chicken and dumplings recipe and evidently the judges thought so too.

Here are 7 out of the 8 who began the competition and then after judging commenced, we were pared down to the Final 4.  Sort of like basketball!  🙂

I was pretty calm and collected even though we were being judged by a world famous chef, Chef Marco Pierre White, but he put me at ease and when I heard he liked chicken and dumplings, I breathed a little sigh of relief.  This was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had and I look forward to sharing the news of Knorr products with everyone.

I’m very happy to be a representative of Knorr, since I have seen their products in my local grocery store for years and know that they have a good reputation in the kitchen.  You can always count on Knorr for good tasting food products and I can definitely attest to the Knorr Homestyle concentrated chicken stock.  It’s genius, mixing one of those little packets to 3 1/2 cups of water.  Tasty, full of flavor, this product will be loved by home cooks across the country.

I can now say that my mom’s chicken and dumpling recipe is award winning! At least in a cook-off with Knorr.

CCheck out the video I did with Knorr during the cook-off!  I’m not used to being on camera, but it was such a fun experience, one that I’ll never forget! Please watch the video, it turned out nice!

You’ll be seeing some fun recipes from me in the next few months using these wonderful Knorr products. I’m very happy and excited to be spreading the good news of Knorr with all of my readers and not only that, Knorr is giving away some goodies to one of you too as a special treat, a Knorr Prize Pack:

  • Concentrated Knorr Homestyle Stock
  • A Knorr apron (like the yellow one you see me wearing!)
  • $100 giftcard (cold hard cash)!

I know!! How exciting is that?!  I know that all you cooks out there would love to win this prize pack.

What recipe are you looking forward to making with Knorr® Homestyle Stock?

Leave me a comment for the chance to win a Knorr® Homestyle Stock prize pack which includes both the chicken and beef varieties of Knorr® Homestyle Stock, a Knorr apron and $100!

Like my family’s chicken and dumplings, do you have a special family recipe that calls for chicken stock?

Tell me about it in the comments for a chance to win the Knorr Prize Pack!

I made my grandmother’s chicken gumbo with Knorr chicken stock this past weekend. Delicious! Good, rich flavor. I’m going to get the beef stock for beef stew this weekend. Comfort food!

I use Knorr chicken concentrate in my Chicken Pot Pie Recipe. It’s not really my recipe but that of Ina Garten. But, I now call it my own!

OH! What a lovely give-a-way! I just found this fantastic product last night and purchased the beef to make French Onion Soup and the chicken for homemade chicken and noodles. Both are family favorites and with fall in the air, perfect for the season.

Fingers crossed! Thank you for the opportunity!

With colder weather comes out the big soup pot, and lots of vegetables & beef for soup. Beef stock really intensifies the flavor of vegetable soup, and I would love to win this great prize pack!!!

Mmm, soup season is coming. Chicken stock would work well in different soups I make. Since we grew our own vegetables this summer, I can use our home grown potatoes, pumpkin, green beans, and onions in recipes.

I’ve used the Knorr Homestyle Stock a couple of times now and love it.
A convenient way to have stock on hand without the large cans or cartons.

I enjoy making a chicken and vermicelli dish that you begin by boiling the noodles in chicken stock until the stock is reduced. This give a wonderful flavor to the noodles before you add the cooked chicken and the vegetables and sauce. I imagine that this new stock method would enhance this dish.

I love Knorr bearnaise sauce! We have shared it with some many people. We use it when we grill London Broil, and also when as a sauce for beef fondue.
I have a low cal chicken picatta recipe with chicken broth. I want to try the Knorr chicken stock. I think it will add more flavor.

Simple chicken noodle soup for my family. I usually make my own stock and freeze it, but this would be so much easier! I think I need to give it a try!
