After my win in CA with the Knorr 4, I’m excited to be a part of this team of ladies who will be representing Knorr products. The Knorr concentrated chicken stock was a perfect fit with my mom’s chicken and dumplings recipe and evidently the judges thought so too.
Here are 7 out of the 8 who began the competition and then after judging commenced, we were pared down to the Final 4. Sort of like basketball! 🙂
I was pretty calm and collected even though we were being judged by a world famous chef, Chef Marco Pierre White, but he put me at ease and when I heard he liked chicken and dumplings, I breathed a little sigh of relief. This was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had and I look forward to sharing the news of Knorr products with everyone.
I’m very happy to be a representative of Knorr, since I have seen their products in my local grocery store for years and know that they have a good reputation in the kitchen. You can always count on Knorr for good tasting food products and I can definitely attest to the Knorr Homestyle concentrated chicken stock. It’s genius, mixing one of those little packets to 3 1/2 cups of water. Tasty, full of flavor, this product will be loved by home cooks across the country.
I can now say that my mom’s chicken and dumpling recipe is award winning! At least in a cook-off with Knorr.
CCheck out the video I did with Knorr during the cook-off! I’m not used to being on camera, but it was such a fun experience, one that I’ll never forget! Please watch the video, it turned out nice!
You’ll be seeing some fun recipes from me in the next few months using these wonderful Knorr products. I’m very happy and excited to be spreading the good news of Knorr with all of my readers and not only that, Knorr is giving away some goodies to one of you too as a special treat, a Knorr Prize Pack:

Well, I don’t have any secret family recipes to make but I would love to make your grandma’s chicken and dumplings:) You did Well my friend!!
Every fall, I look forward to making homemade soup. No particular kind really. I tend to start with stock, then throw whatever’s in my pantry in the pot until it tastes good. Once served this soup to a friend who wanted the recipe. I don’t think she believed me when I told her I’d give the recipe to her if I could, but all I could say was “dump your pantry items in the pot and hope for the best.”
I too have looked forward to the concentrate since you mentioned it, but haven’t seen it in the stores yet. Keeping my eyes opened because I do so much cooking and baking and love to try new things!
I’ve been wanting to try your chicken n dumplings since you entered it. 1st cool day!
Knorr packets are chocked full of flavor. I use them in my crock pots dinners . Knorr puts in the flavor, I put in the veggies and meat.
Chicken and dumplings is one of my all-time favorite foods. I can’t wait to try you and your Mom’s recipe!
I love making a quick chicken noodle soup whenever anyone in the house comes down with the sniffles. Would love to win and am so happy for you Rhoda!
I use Knorr Vegetable recipe mix for my spinach dip. I’m sure most people do!
I always try to keep chicken and beef stock on the pantry shelf. I use the chicken stock in my dressing for Thanksgiving dinner. We also are getting ready to prepare soups for this fall season and many recipes call for chicken stock. Congratulations on being a winner!
I would love to try my hand at making my Nana’s world (or at least famous in our world!) famous chicken noodle soup. Yummm…it is so delish!
Oh – without a doubt, I would use it to make Chicken Casserole. It is an old family favorite – the original recipe calls for “1 Old, Fat Hen.”
Chicken pot pie, definitely! 🙂
I’d make my Grandma’s chicken noodle soup.
Rhoda, I really want to try your Mom’s chicken and dumplin recipe. Love your accent and please enter me in Knorr’s contest. They have found a great spokesperson! Mary
I use chicken stock probably 4 or 5 times a week – I do a lot of cooking for my family. Today I’m making chicken stir fry – Knorr chicken stock would be perfect!
I’ve been wanting to try chicken and dumplings, so I would use the stock for that. Congrats on winning!
Rhoda, that was great! I would love to try your mom’s chicken and dumpling recipe..
