The Knorr 4 Prize Pack Giveaway!

After my win in CA with the Knorr 4, I’m excited to be a part of this team of ladies who will be representing Knorr products.  The Knorr concentrated chicken stock was a perfect fit with my mom’s chicken and dumplings recipe and evidently the judges thought so too.

Here are 7 out of the 8 who began the competition and then after judging commenced, we were pared down to the Final 4.  Sort of like basketball!  🙂

I was pretty calm and collected even though we were being judged by a world famous chef, Chef Marco Pierre White, but he put me at ease and when I heard he liked chicken and dumplings, I breathed a little sigh of relief.  This was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had and I look forward to sharing the news of Knorr products with everyone.

I’m very happy to be a representative of Knorr, since I have seen their products in my local grocery store for years and know that they have a good reputation in the kitchen.  You can always count on Knorr for good tasting food products and I can definitely attest to the Knorr Homestyle concentrated chicken stock.  It’s genius, mixing one of those little packets to 3 1/2 cups of water.  Tasty, full of flavor, this product will be loved by home cooks across the country.

I can now say that my mom’s chicken and dumpling recipe is award winning! At least in a cook-off with Knorr.

CCheck out the video I did with Knorr during the cook-off!  I’m not used to being on camera, but it was such a fun experience, one that I’ll never forget! Please watch the video, it turned out nice!

You’ll be seeing some fun recipes from me in the next few months using these wonderful Knorr products. I’m very happy and excited to be spreading the good news of Knorr with all of my readers and not only that, Knorr is giving away some goodies to one of you too as a special treat, a Knorr Prize Pack:

  • Concentrated Knorr Homestyle Stock
  • A Knorr apron (like the yellow one you see me wearing!)
  • $100 giftcard (cold hard cash)!

I know!! How exciting is that?!  I know that all you cooks out there would love to win this prize pack.

What recipe are you looking forward to making with Knorr® Homestyle Stock?

Leave me a comment for the chance to win a Knorr® Homestyle Stock prize pack which includes both the chicken and beef varieties of Knorr® Homestyle Stock, a Knorr apron and $100!

Like my family’s chicken and dumplings, do you have a special family recipe that calls for chicken stock?

Tell me about it in the comments for a chance to win the Knorr Prize Pack!

In Mexico, many recipes REQUIRE “norsuis” (Knorr Swiss). One of my favorites is a chayote casserole with a crunchy top.

I use chicken stock in a dish we call Muska. (not moussaka)
I also love it as a base for many soups.

I’ve used the old-school Knorr (chicken-flavored concentrated powder) for years in my chicken noodle soup. So simple!!!

You make the amount of broth you need for your batch, seasoned with Knorr. Toss in cooked chicken breast, carrots, celery and egg noodles. Add pepper to taste, and watch out….it will be gone before you know it!

So yummy!! I’ll have to try the new-fangled Knorr’s you are featuring. And the recipe. I lost my grandmother’s chicken and dumpling recipe and am dying to find a good replacement. Obviously, it will be yours….. 🙂
