Thrifty Treasures 6-3

Welcome to another Thrifty Treasures party!  Did you have a good weekend?

You girls know how to hunt down the bargains, don’t you?

Me, I’ve been renovating the house as usual and hitting a fun Southern Living Idea House.  So, let’s get the show on the road and show off some fave finds this week.

99 cent chandy

This chandy was 99 cents at Goodwill and A Heartful Home didn’t leave it behind.  I think with the right paint job this could become a French inspired beauty.  Love it!

antlers a living space

A Living Space always scores some great ones and these antlers are so cool!

at home by the bay

I love a good art find and At Home by the Bay scored this watery beauty for $7 at a yardsale.  Way to go, I would have picked this one up too!

just laine

Just Laine shared a story of the Blue Ball jars that got away and patience paid off when she ran across a box of these lovelies for $2 each at an antiques store.  Her wish came true and she took them home.

Remodelandolacasa 21

Remodelando found a pair of brass lamps and totally revamped them for her living room.  I love how they came out with new paint and reburbished shades.

seaside shelter

Pretty in blue, Seaside Shelter got this coffee table at a thriftstore. It was brown when she bought it and she snazzed it up with blue paint and nailheads.

the weekend homemaker

A yardsale pelmet gets a new lease on life with snappy modern fabric from The Weekend Homemaker.  Cute!

So, what did YOU find this week?

There are a TON of parties out there to highlight all your projects, so please let’s keep this one about thrifty finds that were bought 2nd hand! Not a great sale from the store, or a recipe, or just a plain project, but 2nd Hand finds only!

And please DO NOT go back in your archives to OLD posts and link up. Let’s keep this party fresh and current! If you have already shared your find in a previous party, DON’T share it again! Please, girls, I don’t want to have to delete links.

  1. Add your permalink to the link list, which is the actual post that you did for this party, NOT your general blog url. To get the actual post, after you publish the post, just click on the title and THAT will be your party post url. PLEASE try to get the correct url in the first time! :)
  2. Please add my button to your post or blog OR at least link back to this post in your post. That’s all I ask. It’s common courtesy to link back to the person having the party, so that all of your readers can find it too.
  3. Please do NOT link to an Etsy shop or something similar (even if you think it’s a fabulous deal) or I will delete the link. This party is for sharing thrifty finds from yardsales, thriftstores, or something along those lines. If I see that your post is not really on track with this theme AND you don’t link back, I’ll delete your link. Sorry, but I’d like to keep the party consistent! IF YOU SEE THAT YOUR LINK HAS BEEN DELETED, IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN LINE WITH THIS PARTY THEME.

Again this year, I’ll be highlighting great finds from the party, so if you want your find highlighted, PLEASE link back to the party. Only those who link back will be considered for highlighting the next week. Thanks!

Hi Rhoda! Thanks for hosting another thrifty find party. Thrifing is one of my favorite activities. My favorite of the ones you highlighted from last week have to be the transformed lamps! I’ve enjoyed seeing what other bloggers are finding.
