We’ve been in our house 9 years this year and the deck has gone through a few refreshes over the years and this is the latest one. My old umbrella had been out on the deck at least 5 years and had developed holes in the fabric so it was time to replace it. I went to At Home and got another fun colorful 9′ umbrella for this deck space and chose this pretty tropical green and blue pattern. This isn’t sponsored, but you really can’t beat their umbrellas if you like patterns like I do. Some folks like all neutral outside, but I’m all about color.

I also wanted to get another rug up here, the old one was at least 5 years old and I ended up replacing the rug under the deck with the old one that was here so I just moved things around. I was fortunate to get this sofa from Plow and Hearth a few years ago and it’s held up well. The Sunbrella cushions are going strong and I store them in the deck box out here when bad weather comes along. Here’s a link to the Tropical Seneca Navy umbrella.
The chair and rocking chair (one from Big Lots & the rocker from Pier One) are really getting old, but they are holding up well too and those cushions are also from At Home several years ago. This blue and white rug is a recent purchase from Wayfair and I love it. When it rains, it sheds water really fast and dries out in no time and it’s very affordable. This is a 5×8 and it fits nicely out here.
Daisy hangs out here with me and I love to eat breakfast on the deck. I was testing out the new matching pillows, also from At Home. I bought them when they had a buy one pillow, get one 1/2 off sale.
I keep things pretty simple out here and these pillows, umbrella and pillows add a lot of fun pattern. I love the umbrella table made by Hanover, but unfortunately it’s no longer available.
I bought a new outdoor rug by the door too and it’s a nice addition.
This rug a good size and flows nicely with my other rug.
I’ve been super happy with this metal table and by Better Homes & Gardens I bought a couple of years ago from Walmart. The metal and faux wicker blue and white bistro chairs are so cute.
