You’ve probably heard of Stampington and company, the folks who publish Where Women Create, a bookazine that highlights creative women and the spaces they use for their inspiration and creativity. It’s a thick 160 page magazine/book filled with images of inspiring women such as Margaret Wrinkle, Tamra Bryant, Liza Prior Lucy, Becki Crosby, Donna O’Brien and more. I don’t know all of these women personally or in my blog life, but I know they have achieved some level of popularity in their field to make the magazine. From artists, writers, designers, photographers and more, they represent the creativity inside women.
I got the opportunity to check out the latest edition of Where Women Create and it’s an interesting magazine and read. This is the Nov/Dec/Jan issue and you’ll enjoy reading it and seeing the beautiful spaces.
Check it out if you get a minute! Jo Packham is the driving force behind Where Women Create and there are many publications from this company, all celebrating the drive and uniqueness of women in all areas of life. I love that it’s all about women, we certainly need more celebration of women as a whole.
We are all a force to be reckoned with, aren’t we?!
How funny you should mention this publication today! As I was rearranging things for Christmas, I came across several old issues and took a break to look through them. Minutes turned into an hour and I was once again sucked in by the fabulous stories and photos. I’ll never get rid of these copies, and can’t wait to get the new edition!
Hi Rhoda, Yes, celebrating women is always a good thing! I enjoy seeing the creativity and the work spaces that reflect the owner’s unique style. I’ve gotten inspiration for my own craft room organization too. I haven’t seen the latest copy so I’ll be on the lookout for it.
Stampington & Co. is a wonderful publisher of so many different areas of interest. Where Women Create is one of my favorites! I just might have to give myself a stocking stuffer. 😉
I have purchased their magazine from time to time and enjoyed every page. It is really fun to see where other women do their creative work.
I’m a fan of Where Women Create, too. I bought the hardback book several years ago and have been inspired by it in decorating my own studio. Also have several copies of the periodical and enjoy perusing them from time to time, too–usually find something I missed before.
Where can I buy this magazine in Staten Island, New York?
HI, Josephine, I don’t know since it’s been out for a long time. You could try looking online. This is an old post.
