While I’m still trying to catch up from the BlogHer conference last weekend and all the fun in CA, I’m sharing a fun decor stop in Atlanta today. If you have lived in Atlanta for awhile and haven’t been to Hill Street Warehouse, you are in for a treat!
I found this unique shop down off Howell Mill Road and Collier Road at least 10 years ago and have been popping in as often as I can. It is a visual treat for the eyes. One of my decor friends in Atlanta, Maureen, joined me for this outing. She is a sweet friend who also loves design and this is not our first stop at Hill Street Warehouse.
A treasure trove awaits inside.Â
They always have some nice displays inside the huge warehouse store.
You can find so many unique decor items in here, from pillows, to lamps, to decorative accessories and much more.
Enjoy all the pics and I’ll keep my words to a minimum.
I think you’ll be able to see what a fun place it is to visit.
It’s probably the best place in Atlanta for Italian pottery, dishes, and unique tableware. If you’re a dishaholic, this is the place for you!
Can you imagine this on your Thanksgiving or Easter table? I KNOW! How cute is that bunny?
Loads of beautiful home items for the kitchen.
Not cheap, but gorgeous and unusual things.
There’s even a SALES room and I’ve found some deals in here over the years.
Hill Street has the finest selection of imported Italian clay pots.
And possibly the best selection of sconces in the Southeast.
So many beautiful things. If you’re looking for unique gifts, Hill Street might be your next stop. I always enjoy browsing there. We met up with the shop owner herself and she was so personable and friendly, answering all of our questions.
Have any of you Atlanta girls been by Hill Street?
Hope you’ll stop by if you’re in Atlanta!
Rhoda, I have not been but it is now on my list of places to go! Thanks for the tip.
Wow! And it was one wow moment after another as I was scrolling through the photos.
Looks like a fun place to shop, Rhoda!
Thanks for the eye candy this morning!! Love all the ideas. I really liked the candle holders with tea lights and little Moss Balls….too cute.
Well….as my name reveals, I’m from Atlanta. And nope, never heard of this place, but it will be visited by me. And I’ll walk all over with my tongue hanging out salivating all over the merchandise. Probably won’t be able to afford anything – even from the SALE room. But that doesn’t mean I won’t go and window shop. Thanks for the heads up!
I’ll definitely have to check this place out! Do you know of any ‘farmhouse or barn’ type shopping places in the country areas around Atlanta? When I read about Layla visiting a place – think it was called ‘Tobacco Road’, I long for places like that to visit in nearby Atlanta. You really don’t have to go to much more than an hour or so to get into the country here. They’ve got to be some neat places close by – I just have to find them!
Rhoda,
I wish there were a way to transport me as quickly as my words on the internet highway because I’d be shopping at Hill Street Warehouse and other lovely shops in the south that you’ve shared.
Congrats on your recent win! I had no doubt you and your Mama’s recipe would be a hit.
Your Friend,
Deborah
Looks like a lovely place to add to my list when I head over that way to the fabric stores and Ballard Outlet!
And, congratulations on your win for Knorr! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
That floral / script pillow in the second photo is fabulous! I think I may need to Pin it under DIY Ideas 🙂
Its seems you had such a great time! I love this post.. it’s almost like I’m there, shopping with you.
Have a great day.

Neat feature, Rhoda! I love the big, chunky votive holders!!
Rhoda,
That looks like an amusement park for decor. Oh, how lovely. I could enjoy that immensely!
Thanks, Rhoda. I think the next time I am in Atlanta I need to make a special trip to Hill Street. Lovely post, Rhoda!
I was wondering about other places that could be nearby to shop…I can’t wait to come to Atlanta (from South Ga), but I would like many places to go. Thanks for any suggestions !
Sounds like you girls had a blast. I’ll have to pop in on my next trip to Atl.
Looks great, but the $29 apples have me thinking that I’ll be “window shopping” only! 🙂
*LOVE* the chickens…gotta have ’em! Also love the drippy chandys that just ooze sophistication! Andrea @ townandprairie
Gorgeous store! I would probably spend hours there!
LOVE that pillow!!!
Rhoda, it’s been awhile since I’ve stopped by…so sorry. I love coming by to visit. I feel like I just went shopping with you. Such a fun post. Take care.
Looks like a wonderful shop. Lots of lovely finds! Have a gorgeous day, Kellie xx
