Blissdom Bound

For the last 2 years around this time, I have ventured up to Nashville for the Blissdom conference.  It’s been fun every single time, meeting up with fabulous other bloggers in the home niche (and outside that niche for that matter), for some fun and catching up.  Not much sleep, but a whole lotta fun.  You know there will be a whole bunch of chatting going on. This was a big part of the home bloggers from last year.  They are all wonderful ladies and I’m proud to be a part of them.  Do you recognize some of these blogger friends?  I’m sure you do! (me, Edie, Kate and Layla, photo courtesy of Kate)

I’ll be heading out in a couple of days and can’t wait to catch up with these girls again.  Shhhhh, this year several of us are not attending the actual conference sessions, but chose to meet up and hang out together.  You just know how much fun we will have.

And imagine all the boots that will be in attendance. 🙂

Are you going to Blissdom too?  Let me know if you are.

Attending a conference like this can be quite daunting, meeting all those new people and wondering if you will connect in person like you do on your blog.  Meeting these girls in person has been one of the best parts of blogging for me and forging friendships is a huge part of this blogging journey.  It has added so much to my life and meeting up in person is just the icing on the cake.  The cherry on top!

So, I hope if you are going that you will introduce yourself.  I’d love to meet all of you.  If you are going and don’t have a group to hang out with, you are welcome to hang with me.  Don’t feel left out, introduce yourself and get to know others.  You’ll be glad you did!

I love all of her pieces, just precious! If I had to pick, I would say the “Heart to Heart” with my honey and my name on there. Thanks for your blog and all your great projects/pics. And thanks to The Vintage Pearl.

Love love love you both!

I know you will have so much fun, Rhoda. There are so many great ladies out there that I would love to meet in person. How nice that there is a conference for all of you. It is a little too far away for me, though, so have a good time!

When did I miss (or forget?) that you’ll be in Israel for a month. What an amazing opportunity!! I can’t wait to see it through your camera lens.

Hope you have a blast at Blissdom! I’d like to plan ahead and plan on attending next year, but not having a “tribe” does make me a little hesitant. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of it this year. 🙂

Oh fun!! I reallllly want to go to Blissdom one year, but this year, with a 5 week old, is not meant to be! I’m not sure how much Noah would like the conference sessions, after all!! I hope you have a fabulous time!!

Have fun! I live just 2 hrs from Nashville and even grew up in TN but for some reason I choose to go to the Creative Estates conference instead of Blissdom. It would have been much cheaper for me to go to this one instead. All well… I still look forward to my first conference.

Rhoda…I had to double back a few post to figure out the Israel thing. Holy Smokes…a month and maybe longer. Good luck and we will all be looking forward to some exciting post from your journey.

I don’t know all the girls there but I adore Layla. She’s always so nice and wow, let’s not even talk about how talented she is, huh?

I loved seeing all the pictures! It’s great to know you guys had so much fun! 🙂

    Have a blessed week!

I would so love to go to Blissdom but haven’t started my blog yet. I’ve been a reader. I wish you a wonderful trip to Israel, Rhoda, and will keep good thoughts and prayers for you on your amazing journey. I look forward to following along on your trip.

Hey Rhoda, have an awesome time at Blissdom. One of the joys of blogging for me has been meeting lots of my blog friends in person. I won’t be attending, but maybe some day. I am also excited about your upcoming trip to Israel. That will be great! Can’t wait to see your pictures when you go. Safe travels for both trips. Love & blessings from NC!

Oh, how sad that Opry Mills isn’t open. That was always such a good place to go, and would have been a good place for you and your friends to do some good bonding. Well, you might get to have a snowball fight instead.

    Dear Rhoda,

It seems Blissdom was not in HIS plans for me this year. My only regret is that I am missing out on meeting some of the most wonderful, talented, creative women I know. Have a safe journey my friend and enjoy! I look forward to reading all about your adventures.

    Love,
    Deborah
