A very sweet reader in NC emailed me about their 7th annual Blueberry Festival that is held every year in Burgaw, NC. And she also sent me a copy of their blueberry cookbook, which is chock full of great recipes using at least 1 cup of blueberries, retail value $18.
The festival began back in 2004 and recipes were collected over the years. Finally, enough recipes came together to compile a cookbook with over 300 blueberry recipes.
I know many of you are berry fans also and would love to have a copy of this cookbook too, so she is graciously giving away 2 more copies to my readers. All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite way to eat blueberries. If you don’t win, but would like to purchase a cookbook, you can call 910-259-9817 for all the details.
We LOVE blueberries in our family! My parents have huge bushes up at their NC house and it’s a treat to go up there and pick this time of year. In fact, we’ll be going up there very soon doing just that. Blueberries are SO good for you too, you can’t eat too many of them.
OK, leave a comment and I’ll pick 2 winners for your very own copy of the NC Blueberry Festival Cookbook.

My favorite is still Blueberry Muffins! Although my Dad’s Blueberry Pancakes are a very close 2nd!
It is deffinately blueberry cobbler. Can never get enough!
My favorite is the wonderful blueberry muffin recipe of the Barefoot Contessa. They are the absolute best!! Neighbors of ours have a large blueberry patch and they have a U-Pick season every spring. I look forward to it every year. Thanks for a chance to win this very generous gift. HTH Janet
I’m still thinking about that blueberry braid you posted about last year!!!
BTW – I sent you an email invitation a couple of days ago. Hope you received it.
I love blueberries. If I have any left after we pick them (the kids eat them as they go) then I like them on my cereal or in my yogurt. Yummy in muffins, too.
I would love one!
Blueberry muffins, for sure! Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
BTW, I am in the process of opening my own preschool and the name is going to be Blueberry Hill Nursery School!
I must say blueberry muffins with a little raw sugar on top! yum
What a nice offer. The book sounds wonderful. I love blueberries in many ways, but I guess my favorites are blueberry buttermilk pancakes and blueberry struesel muffins.
Oooh, I love blueberry pancakes. You know, cooked to perfection, and the berries are just ready to pop in your mouth. Yep! That’s the best way to eat blueberries….

What a great book. I would love a chance to win that.
I go blueberry picking every year at the sweetest little farm up here in N.H. and I would love to make some of the recipes in your cookbook.
Fresh blueberries popped open with flavor, and spreading purple color through a sweet, warm, sugar-topped muffin. Mmmm.
I love blueberries – for years we picked them, but then they sold the orchard? farm? lot? and built a subdivision – now I have to buy them already picked. I have to figure out how many to buy fresh to freeze for all year!
Hi Rhoda! My favorite way to eat blueberries, you ask??.. Fresh, right out of the basket I bought them in, from the farmer who sold them to me! Other than that, I love them in muffins and waffles! ~tina
I love them in a cobbler. Thanks for the giveaway.
Blueberries are good just about anyway you eat them. We have a blueberry farm close by. It’s a special treat to pick and visit with the owners and sample their blueberry jam. Yum! Appreciate the chance to win the cookbook. Thank you!
The easiest, quickest way for us is in a salad of mixed greens. We eat these with dinner at least 3 times a week, and the blueberries are such a delicious, healthy addition. DH tossed them in his daily cereal, too when we have them available. Once in a while I bake them in a rustic tart for a sweet treat.
I njust bought some blueberries from a farm stand near my house and today I am going to make blueberry pancakes. I would love to win this cookbook!
I love eating them fresh on cereal.
I freeze blueberries and eat them frozen. I call them “Nature’s M&Ms”!
